Thank you for all your help. Unfortunately i had got caught up
in an urgent family matter and hav not been able to send this, i
should have done it as soon as you sent itbut failed.
Do i have any options?

Do you have any options? Did you submit an AoS?
The very first thing I suggest you do is check your MCOL history
and see if you've already been issued a CCJ by default. You most
likely have by now but, just in case you haven't, do two things
in this order:
1. Submit the defence I provided (just the body, not the headers
or Statement of Truth) using the MCOL webform.
2. Go buy a lottery ticket.
However, I suspect you already have a CCJ, in which case, if it
was issued less than 30 days ago, you pay it in full. If you
don't or more than 30 days have passed since the CCJ was issued,
you are going to be in a world of financial pain for the next 6
years.

yes submitted the AOS, i never sent the last email that i was
meant as got delayed.
SO i will do the othr things you mentioned above.
How do i chck if i have a CCJ

CCJ had already been issued, so i called DCB Legal and paid the
amount. ON the claim form it said £287.40 but they charged me
£314. They said its court fee cost or something like that.
Is that all i need to do now?

Yes. The extra £27 is the hearing fee.
What was the reason for the "delay" in sending the defence?
