Do we have to guess that one of those two addresses is also the
registered keeper's address, and that the registered keeper is
perhaps you, and the driver is your son, or do we have to make
more guesses?
You've made this unnecessarily confusing by telling us, without
any explanation, that the driver (who is not the registered
keeper) will receive "something" at the registered keeper's
address.

Not sure what you mean and why so much aggression like using
terms like FFS.
Since the pepipoo days, the advise was to not share specific
details hence why the I used the term driver and keeper, also
someone mentioned above I should NOT share the alleged speed
whereas another poster asked for that hence my confusion.
My intention was not to obfuscate, if some of you guys feel that
way then I apologise.

Not sharing the speed/limit will mean it is impossible to say
what the likely outcome will be. But I note you didn't ask that.
If the driver was stopped at the time and gave his details, the
registered keeper (if he was not the driver) has nothing to do
or to worry about.
The driver's options (not yours) are to either wait to see if
anything turns up in the post or to contact the police to see if
they have taken any action (in case anything has been lost in
the post).

If you are referring to this comment: "N.B. Please don't give
us any relevant information such as alleged speed and limit that
would prevent us playing pointless guessing games when trying to
determine what the likely next step (from the police) would be"
I think you might need to activate your sarcasm filter.
Of course it would help to share the speed limit...

Thank you for your guidance/advice, speed was 85mph (as
mentioned above mid-80s). Clearly I missed the sarcasm hence my
confusion.
