       Private parking ticket

       Hi,
I have finally received my first private parking ticket (after
20 years of posting on Pepipoo)!
I understand since 2012 you can't ignore them any more, so
wondered what my fist port of call was - appeal to the company?
The images appear almost impossible to read on the NTK, being
       about three inches square.
The allegation is parking outside a 'marked bay' at a Free LIDL
       car park.
Attached is an image of the first I've heard of the affair, as
RK (No ticket was placed on the windscreen):
       Cheers

Thought the name looked familiar from PePiPoo - welcome to FTLA!
I have removed your upload of the back page of the notice - your
vehicle reg and PCN number were visible (at the bottom on the
       'transfer of liability' section).
Some of the information you've blocked off on the front page
might be useful... Can you tell us/show us exactly what it says
       for:
       - All dates and times specified (exact wording please)
       - Any location specified (again, exact wording)
A good first port of call will be to speak to the management of
the Lidl store to see if they will intervene.

Yes, glad you removed page 2, didn't notice that.

Have you approached Lidl to ask them to get it cancelled?

Not yet. I will go there Sunday and ask (it's 5 miles or so
       away, in Weybridge).

Make sure you aim as high as possible up the management food
       chain.

The manager of LIDL referred me to their customer care line, who
informed me they use Parking Eye for their dedicated parking
spaces, so the car park I was in (although attached to the
building) is not owned or run by them.

Unless the car park is also shared with other retail stores at
the location, then the manager is fobbing you off. We already
know that the car park is nit "run by them". Whilst it may not
be "owned" by Lidl, they will be the leaseholder of the land and
will have contracted ParkingEye to manage it.
I suggest you aim for the very top of the management food chain
and email the CEO. Let them delegate it to someone at least
several pay grades, and possibly more switched on, above a lowly
       customer service bod.

It's a retail park - could it be the case that Lidl has some
spaces that they organise the management of (via ParkingEye) and
the retail park management deal with the rest? If so, trying to
contact whoever owns/manages the retail park might be wise.

I think the point they were making is if it was a dedicated LIDL
car park it would be run by Parking Eye and they could cancel
it, but this one was run by 'National Parking Control', so it
       wasn't under their control.
