       Gallions Reach Shopping Park (UKPC)

       Hi All
Sorry posted this on MSE site not realising we have a section
here for Private parking tickets. 19/09/24 I went to above site
to meet a friend but m car broke down due to DPF issue.
Basically car went on limp mode. Called a friend who has
diagnostic to come and try and do a manual dpf regeneration.
Took him around 2 hours. Didn’t realise and ticket posted to
address. I have appealed it and provided a witness statement
from the friend and now they are asking for invoice or breakdown
paperwork. My friend is not a registered mechanic so what can I
do? Oh they are saying that the statement is invalid!
       Thanks

Far too late to appeal now. No big deal. We only needed to see
the original Notice to Keeper. Any reminders and upcoming debt
       crawler letters are irrelevant.
For now, all you can do is ignore all the debt collector
letters. It is perfectly safe to do so. They are powerless to do
anything except to try and scare the low-hanging fruit on the
gullible tree into paying out of fear and ignorance. Be being
here receiving advice, you are neither.
Eventually, you will receive a Letter of Claim (LoC) from DCB
Legal. When you do, come back and show us so that we can confirm
it is a genuine LoC and we will provide the necessary response.
They will issue a county court claim in due course. We will need
to see the N1SDT Claim Form. Only redact your personal details,
the claim number, your VRM and the MCOL password. Leave
everything else visible, especially all dates and times and, of
course the Particulars of Claim (PoC).
It is easily defended and I can say with over 99% certainty that
it will eventually be discontinued. They never go beyond the
requirement to pay the trial fee. Their modus operandi is to try
and scare the defendant into paying up out of fear and ignorance
about litigation. Once they realise that you are not going to
give up, the abandon and move on to lower-hanging fruit to pick.

Here is the refusal of witness statement. Just to add, I have
not stated who the driver was.

If you cannot evidence that you were broken down and needed
recovery, what do you expect UKPC to do? Anyone could just drum
       up that excuse without evidence.
As I have already pointed out to you earlier, the only way this
is going to be resolved is when UKPC, through DCB Legal issue a
county court debt claim, you defend it and they eventually
       discontinue, early next year.
In the meantime, carry on with your life and simply ignore the
useless debt collector letters until you receive the N1SDT claim
form in the post. Then come back and show us the Particulars of
Claim (PoC) and we will provide the defence which will
       eventually put this to bed.

Just some update, received the standard NOTICE OF DEBT RECOVERY.
From dcbl dated 10/01/25. They are asking for £170.
[member=26]b789[/member] I saw on another post you have drafted
an email as response, or do I just wait for Loc? Thanks again
       for the support!

Wait for a Letter of Claim, don't engage with debt collectors.
