Greenwich, code 01 parked in a restricted street, Crooms Hill

Hey,
I have received. PCN for parking on a single yellow line on
Sunday in Crooms Hill
HTML https://maps.app.goo.gl/NsWDhw8NpnMwPmnw8
(Greenwich Town
centre), I did that based on this map
HTML https://www.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/site/custom_scripts/repo/pages/cpz/iframe.html<br
/>where it says Greenwich Town Centre's controller hours are
Mon-Sat (picture attached). <br> <br>
My appeal was rejected, saying the zone has got signs at entry
points, and I did go there today and indeed the sign says
Mon-Sun, it is located a couple of minutes away from where I
parked. <br> <br>
Is there any tangible chance to win the case, given the
council's own website has got incorrect information? I still
have 6 days to pay the reduced fine

Post your challenge and their rejection.
I'd say you're entitled to rely on their website.

Another section
HTML https://www.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/directory_record/1038786/greenwich_town_centre<br
/>of their portal lists Mon-Sun too, which makes it ever more
confusing.
My challenge was the following

> I have checked today morning around 10:30-10:40 your official
website
HTML https://www.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/site/custom_scripts/repo/pages/cpz/iframe.html<br
/>which clearly states:
>
> Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ)
> Greenwich Town Centre (G)
> Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm
>
> it still displays the information now. Based on the above, the
logical thing to assume is that Sunday is okay to park on a
single yellow line. I have got a video recording and screenshots
of your website showing this information, therefore I would like
to get my PCN cancelled.'

Their response is the following

A total failure to address your reps about the council webpage.
It is the usual Fob-Off letter, because they know that after
they issue them, 99% of appellants just cough-up.
However, are you prepared to take the matter further and risk
the full penalty at adjudication ?
Can you please post all sides of the PCN please.

Clearly a mess up by Greenwich Council on their website. Make
sure you keep evidence in case website is updated.
The restrictions clearly should include Sunday. As that is the
main day that day trippers come to Greenwich for market, park
etc.
Sunday hours are different. Ending at 6pm rather than 5pm. The
council online map is wrong and forgot to include Sunday
restrictions as well as mon-sat.
The thing is... Playing devil's advocate.
But isn't it incumbent on motorists to follow road signs?
It follows that the fact that the website is wrong, is
mitigation only. And therefore cannot be considered by Tribunal.
So reliant on Greenwich Council to play fair, with discretion
only.
Unless you set a trap for failure to consider.

This is exactly the reason why I am on the fence whether to
pursue it or not, and decided to post here. The police would
probably say the same thing, that road signs take priority over
anything else. The fact that there are no signs at all relating
to CPZ hours/restrictions along the whole street is dumb and
infuriating, but it's not illegal

Parking signs are not like speed limit signs.
I think you'd win if you go on with this. You diligently checked
their website for applicable restrictions before setting off and
this would put people off guard to a single zone entry sign.
Even if you'd clocked it you may not have thought it applied at
your destination given the size of some zones.
