       Received contradicting letters

       Hi,
I defended a claim a few months ago based on instructions on
this forum. I received a letter from the County Court dated the
2nd of October 2024 stating that the claim against me (by DCB
legal, the legal representatives of a private parking company)
has been allocated to the small claims track for a hearing date
       in January 2025.
I then received a letter dated the 4th of October, from DCB
Legal stating that they have been instructed by their client to
discontinue court proceedings and close their file and that they
have done so. They attached the claimant's N279 Notice of
Discontinuance and mentioned that this N279 has been filed with
       the court.
From this, I gather that this is now out of the legal system and
I can ignore it? Is this the case? I just want to confirm with
the experts on here if there is any further action on my part,
because the two contradictory letters (court & DCB legal) were
       written just two days apart.
       Thanks,

Does this relate to one of your existing threads? If so, post in
that thread rather than starting a new one.

       Is this the thread?
Received two PCNs from April 2023 with legal and court fees on
top but this is the first time I am hearing about this

If so, this thread should be merged into it.
A Notice of Discontinuance (NoD) means that the claim has been
discontinued. In other words, it's the end of the matter. Well
done for following the advice and persevering.
       Please show us the NoD.

No, this does not refer to that one. This is a separate one that
I have not previously posted on here (but I followed the same
       steps of AoS, defence etc).
I get an error message that the upload folder is full when
trying to upload so please see the NoD letter front and back
       pages below:

       Thanks for all the help!
