Please show us the allocation order. It needs to be scrutinised
just in case there is anything that can be easily missed.
The contact from DCB Legal with an offer to settle is standard
and is the precursor to their discontinuing the claim. Do not
respond to any offers to settle. Do not even acknowledge them.
They will discontinue just before the deadline to pay the trial
fee. When you receive a copy of the N279 Notice of
Discontinuation (NoD) show it to us for the record.

Here's the allocation order:

Sorry if I've gone a bit OTT on the redacting, if you need any
more information from it I can share what you need.
Thank you for your help.

Just my address.
I've attached the bundle of files with generic information
provided by the court.

For heavens sake... what have you redacted the dates and the
name of the county court????
Just follow the process. You will soon receive either a call or
text or email or letter from DCB Legal offering a settlement.
Ignore all offers of a settlement as this is just precursor to
them discontinuing that claim. When you receive the N279 Notice
of Discontinuation (NoD), please let us know and show it of the
record.

Trying to make it unidentifiable ;D
Would it be of benefit if I unredacted it?
I'll follow the process.

Unidentifiable for what reason?
Time to take the tin-foil hat off. These companies issue over
40,000 PCNs a DAY!!! Trust me, the small cadre of hooded but
technically savvy "yoofs", will have their hands full without
trying to scour the interWeb for your case. Even if they did
manage to identify that you are receiving assistance from a
specialist forum, what are you imagining they could do with that
information?

Fair point, well made, you would be more experienced with
whether the information is accessed at all.
Are there any other considerations if I share some of the
redacted parts, or is the outcome still going to be the same?

There will be absolutely no change in the predicted outcome. We
need the dates and which court for our reference and stats.
This will end in a discontinuation.

Is there any risk of this going to court?
If I was to pay the £80, could this be adversely used against
me?
This court date will end up disrupting work and ultimately
costing me more than £80 for the day, just for time and the
stress of preparing for it all.
