UKPC PCN - Main Yard Industrial Estate, E9 5LN

Received this PCN on Friday as I'm the registered keeper. The
driver didn't notice any signage on entering or parking. After
receiving the PCN later found a photo of a sign on their FB page
from a few years ago announcing the 90 minute parking limit
(

/>but not obvious where the sign is located. Driver was visiting
the site for a meeting, was unaware of the 90 minute limit....
ANPR cameras have them entering site at 1pm and exiting site at
2:57pm.

Do you have (or can you easily acquire) up-to-date photos of the
signage at the site, including their prominence?

thanks for the reply - I've just checked google maps. Sorry the
quality isn't very good.

the sign appears to be on the wall below the w of Grow and not
obviously displayed anywhere else at the entrance to the car
park.
Can't make out the sign properly, but it appears likely from
colours and proportions it's the one linked on the facebook post
from above.

That Google Street View image was also taken 6 years ago. The
signage might well be naff, but evidence of this would be
helpful. Showing that the signage was insufficient in 2020 isn't
compelling when challenging a PCN issued in 2026.
Are you able to acquire up-to-date images?

I will do my best. Can I request this from UKPC as they've not
provided any evidence of signage? If not I will try and go there
to inspect

If they reject your initial appeal, when you go to the next
stage (POPLA), you can put them to proof. However, bear in mind
that they're interested in enforcing the charge, which means
they will present their evidence in the best possible way, from
the angles that make it appear most conspicuous, with a view to
showing that it was practically impossible to miss.
What you ideally want is images showing how the signage actually
appears to a motorist entering and parking up at the site.
