Just trying to get my head around ANPR private car parks

I am just wondering about ANPR images upon entry and exit. Some
PCNs show entry/exit time with front vehicle number plate only
others show front and rear plates. I suppose it is the position
of where the camera is situated rather than any hard and fast
ruling of whether front entry rear exit plates must be provided.

Nothing other than some PCN show x 2 front plates some show 1
front one rear plate just wondering why there is no protocol for
issuing PCN that front entrance plate exit rear number plate.

Something in the back of my mind relates to a Private PCN being
issued with 2 front facing number plates as both entry and exit
and the question was being asked were the photos both entry
photos as no rear photograph was evident. If indeed this is
acceptable which it looks likely then so be it. In relation to
the matter of protocols or policy I would have thought BPA code
of practice would be the best place for it but hypothetical I
suppose.

It seems the BPA code of Practice is a figment of the
imagination, a work of fiction. There's no scruples or morals in
the parking industry. they work on the very edges of the law if
at all.

For starters, that would make ANPR enforcement against
motorbikes, which are not required to display a front plate,
effectively impossible.

Maybe that's why we don't get many PCN claims on here from
motorcyclists.
