       Enfield Council - PCN received

       Hi all,
       I have received a PCN in Enfield.  The signs seem to be
       confusing to me. It says permit holders only On event days and
       then gives timing. Could you please suggest any valid grounds of
       challenge.

       For me, reading the sign, on an Event day, only permit holders
       are permitted to park in the bay between Noon and 9 pm. So when
       there are no event days, one can park there on any day of the
       week.
       The key thing with Event Days is the date of the next event has
       to be on a sign, usually at the entrances to a Controlled
       Parking Zone.

       I don't belive there was anything about the event dates in the
       immediate viscinity.

       I'm not sure what direction the OP approached from, but it's
       likely they passed the entry signs here

       Indeed yes, the CPZ signs have the "Next Event" date. I think
       unless Hippocrates can come up with a strong "technical appeal",
       the OP would lose at London Tribunals,
