But surely the signage at the location does not reflect the
restriction authorized by the underlying Traffic Regulation
       Order.
Don't local authorities have a statutory duty to ensure that all
traffic signs match and correctly communicate the restrictions
       within their TROs?
But more to the point is the signage substantially compliant
with the restriction in the eyes of an adjudicator?
I don't know with respect to the last question.

IMO, the relevant(assuming there's a corresponding reference in
       a Schedule) section is (d), not (e):
       (d) Prohibition of Vehicles/Motor Vehicles - No person shall
       allow a vehicle
to proceed in any road or part of a road indicated as being
       prohibited to
motor vehicles, or any vehicle within the schedule to this Order
And as we can't see what traffic sign is present......

I got my friend to take some pictures of the area, unfortunately
she didn't take it from the direction of the point where I
       entered.
Attaching them anyway incase its helpful:

I would put them to proof what the signage is/was as it is not
shown in the video and say you immediately corrected your
       manoeuvre.

But we can piece together something from what's posted:
Pic 1 shows a NE sign facing 7/8 o'clock. This is sited next to
a parking place with lettering, probably DISABLED. To the rear
is a green junction box of some type.
Pic 2 shows a sign meaning one-way to the left. It must
therefore have been on the same side of the road as the NE sign
in Pic 1. It is situated near black and green boxes, the green
not being that in Pic 1. There's no NE in view.
Pic 3 shows an entrance to the road and a car heading away... in
the direction of the arrow in Pic 2. It is therefore the
entrance used by you. The only regulatory sign in view is a 20
mph speed limit. However, in view are the backs of two circular
signs. We can also see a length of street regulated by DYL and a
parking place, but without lettering. These cover at least 20m
       IMO.
The first photo in the PCN confirms the above and suggests that
the NE sign is situated adjacent to the black or red cars.
Surely at least 40m into the road.
As it stands, IMO it can be argued that the NE sign in view in
your photos does not meet regulatory standards. It is also
situated up to 40m into the road and you did not pass this
       point.
But what if there are NE signs or possibly flying motorcycle
signs where we can see the backs of what appear to be signs in
Pic 3? But if they are there, what the hell is the sign in Pic 1
       supposed to mean?
And GSV Aug 2025 shows what appear more circular signs covered
in black bags than you can shake a stick at, some located as
       above, but one not.
You need clearer photos pl. IMO, these must be taken at least
showing the entrance to the road and where the NE sign(s) are.
And from the footway on the left any sign at the entrance and
capture the other one to its rear.

The signs at the end of the road which we can't see from the
video are almost certainly No Entry signs. The reason they were
covered up in 2025 when the Google car visited last time, was
       due to works on Florida Street;
  HTML https://maps.app.goo.gl/SproWdLFnDqgNiXw7
So the signs had to be temporarily covered to enable two way
traffic on Rushmead, to allow traffic out of dead end streets.
The signs, NE and one-way-to-left, halfway along the street are
for vehicles coming out of the side street opposite those signs.
Still waiting on receiving the TMO and schedules although they
might take a while. I didn't do an FOI request, replies take up
to 20 days with those, perhaps I should have.

The NEV signs are there (all 3 of them) and, according to GSV
from Aug 2025, a no left turn sign.
You say you came from this direction, which is actually a
cul-de-sac, the only exit being into a private estate.
How did you miss this sign?
Whatever is argued about the positioning of the 2 NE signs at
the junction and the misleading effect of the mysterious third
sign, they're bound to argue that the NLT sign gives adequate
warning to drivers who should then be alert to restrictions.
Can you take us through how you came to enter the road?
