Gladstones Solicitors - Letter Before Claim

       ---------------------------------------------------------
       Hi all,
I've been away and I've come back to a letter from Gladstone's
       Solicitors. A letter before claim.
They've been sending letters to my old address so they carried
out a search trace. They're asking for £155 to be paid within 30
days of the letter (It was issued 4th of August and because I've
only just come back and seen this, I only have a few days to
proceed). I'm wondering if this is something I can ignore?
       Thanks in advance

       You should reply, according to
  HTML https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/procedure-rules/civil/rules/pd_pre-action_conduct#6.1
       --- Quote ---
       > the defendant responding within a reasonable time – 14 days in
a straight forward case and no more than 3 months in a very
complex one. The reply should include confirmation as to whether
the claim is accepted and, if it is not accepted, the reasons
why, together with an explanation as to which facts and parts of
       the claim are disputed
       --- End Quote ---
presuming you intend to defend the subsequent court claim. Your
respond to the Letter before Claim will be ignored, but you have
put things in writing to show that you have engaged with the
       process.
If you want more advice, we probably need to see the original
Notice to Keeper and any other correspondence between you and
       the parking company.
You really need to provide us with the background to this as
well as the documents requested. Whether or not you ignore, you
are likely to receive a county court claim, which you need to
       defend.

You need to make sure that you include your current address with
any reply. It would also be worth sending a data rectification
notice to Horizon instructing them to update your address for
service, and to erase old addresses.
Horizon PCNs were often not compliant with POFA to transfer
liability, if you don't have it, then send a Subject Access
Request to them to get all the info.
