Hello all.
I was all glowing having beaten a private ticket issue from
years ago and came back from my holiday to a NTK as well as 2
more escalation letters from UKPC.
Here are the letters.
Letter 1

Letter 2

Letter 3

From my recollection this was the same location that the car
used an EV charger around that time. Signage not great at
explaining that you needed to pay to park ass well as charge -
it appeared that they were run by the same company but evidently
not.
I was away for a month in the campervan so missed the appeal
stages.
Is this worth appealing or just wait for nature to take its
course and deal with the courts?
If it is worth appealing - is there any language specifically
that i should use?
Thanks
James

Appeal would be a waste of effort on your part, spend your time
instead thinking about your defence to the likely court claim.
An appeal will be rejected out of hand because it's too late, or
ignored.

Too late to appeal.
Ignore all begging debt letters.
Wait for Letter Before Claim.
I've examined the site and I feel that it is not made
sufficiently clear that drivers who charge their vehicles are
required to pay a parking charge as well.
This would be a very unusual arrangement since a driver would
consider that the cost of charging would also give the right to
be in the space. Any claim to the contrary (by the parking
operator) would probably be a breach of consumer legislation.
What you could do (in terms of gathering evidence), is contact
the charging company to establish EXACTLY the arrangements they
have with the landowner with regard to the charging spaces - in
most cases the charging spaces are specifically leased -
meaning; that the parking operator has no legal right to apply
their additional parking contract to those spaces since they
don't have an agreement with the leaseholder.
Hope that makes sense?
