I caught some of this BBC programme on private parking tickets
today - as far as I could tell it failed to cover the basics.
Maybe someone would like to brief them or get on the next one.

IMHO the BBC are not interested in the facts, unless they
       support its agenda.

I've not yet had chance to listen, and generally don't hold out
much hope of accuracy when it comes to news pieces on private
parking charges. That said, even where they contain
inaccuracies/poor interpretation of the law, pieces like this
hopefully help to keep the ills of the private parking industry
in the news cycle, and hopefully keep up the political pressure
       for some overdue change.
