Tooting, PCN due to stopping on a red route

Hi all, thanks for any help in advance.
I was driving my sister in laws car and stopped in tooting. I
read the sign and realised I could not park there so left.
She's been sent this PCN. Could I argue that I was only stopped
but after reading the sign I left and so should not have to pay?

I suggest you contact TfL and request the DVD which halts the
enforcement for a while.
And then you and we can put your recollection to the test!

It's to see and test their evidence in the form of CCTV and your
recollection as to the events.
