Stansted airport fine for driving straight through express drop
off zone.

I’ve seen a lot of people post about this but they all seem to
say they did park.
In my case the car did not park in the express drop off.
They sent me a letter saying that the car, I am the registered
keeper of, drove in and drove out in literally less than 1
minute 50 seconds according to their own timestamps, late at
night.
The car drove straight through. The car parked in the short stay
car park that night. It did not park in and use the express drop
off.
Surely I can’t be “fined” for the car having driven straight
through in less than 2 minutes can I?

I doesn't matter whether or not you parked, drove through, or
did something else, if you've received a Notice to Keeper from
APCOA at Stansted then as long as the driver isn't identified
there's a standard appeal based on it not being "relevant land"
under the definitions of PoFA 2012 and so the liability can not
be transferred from the driver to the registered keeper.
Just use the simple appeal and APCOA will almost certainly
cancel.

APCOA Stansted Airport.
You must put a bit of effort into it for experience.
