       CCTV Penalty Charge Notice

       Hello,
       I need help, please. I parked outside kid's school during
       morning school dropoff.
       I remember tires were behind the line but don't know if the
       penalty justified. Should I pay or is this one that can be
       challenged?

       Thank you. I've checked the PCN.
       The notice states:
       Walsall Council PCN.
       Contravention 48J – Stopped in a restricted area outside a
       school when prohibited (CCTV).
       Date: 1 July 2026 at 08:55.
       Wilkes Avenue.
       Discounted penalty £35 if paid within 21 days.
       Any advice would be appreciated.

       GSV would suggest that you are parked on the zig-zags, but the
       penalty charge error may mean that the PCN is invalid.
