Civil Enforcement Ltd Courts and Tribunals letter PCN dated
08/03/25

Hi guys,
I know I probably need to add the pictures of letters etc to
this thread but right now I've had alot going on and this needs
to be dealt with sooner than later.
Background story, I have a PCN for being at my mother in laws
for 45 minutes instead of the 15 your allowed. The reason the
landlord has chosen a company to pursue these is because there
is a school opposite and they love to park on this over 60's
estate.
Usually, based on what I've read previously, I have ignored
these and never heard anything back but this time they seem to
be determined.
What are my options? Is it worth defending this to prolong the
process while I argue my case or what? They are trying to claim
£272.70?!
Any help is greatly received and I will post the pictures of the
letters at some point but have like 4 days to do something about
this online.
Cheers guys

Post up the PCN and claim form, and the location. What date is
the claim? If you are within the 14 days you can submit the
Acknowledgement of Service which will buy you more time to
submit the defence.

The date of the PCN is 08/03/25 and no unfortunately due to so
much going on in my life I’m right at the edge of the 14 plus 5.
I’ll attach the claim form tomorrow but not sure about the PCN
letters…..it’s been a while.

Do the AOS ASAP - if you are lucky they won't have pushed the
button for a default judgement, and you get a bit of breathing
space to put in a defence.

If you do not have the PCN, you can request it from the parking
company with a Subject Access Request, but you need to do this
immediately and hope you get a response in time for your defence
deadline. As in tomorrow is too late.

I have attached the links to the images because it's 2 full
letters. I don't have the PCN's and funnily enough I have
another one from October 2024 that they haven't pursued. They
have also now given the tenants a code to scan to enter the reg
rather than go to the common room which wasn't an option
previously.
I will get onto them for copies of the PCN and also submit my
defence right now.
Thanks for the help guys as always.

You probably know, but just for completeness your deadlines are
20 July for the AoS
3 August for the defence.

I've just done the AOS so now to defence part. I'm about to

This might help....
Obviously there are no contact details for the company but have
got a summary of the PCN here that I got off the website.
