As other have said, the ball is current with the parking
operator.
They will just go through their process now. None of your
representations will be considered when deciding whether to
pursue you. It's like a machine.

Thank you. I found it necessary to disable PMs very quickly
because I was otherwise inundated with people trying to get
personal off-forum advice for their problems to which I had
replied on the forum.

Enabling legislation is already on the statute books, it's just
that the necessary regs have not been made which would, among
other matters, create an independent judicial body to which
motorists could resort, a la public penalty adjudicators.
