st martins place, Brum. Ocean Parking

Driver parked in this barrier controlled car park to attend
conference at the attached Hotel, Park Regis. Upon departure
they paid the £16

fee
via App. The barrier raised and allowed departure.
The RK then recived an invoice from Ocean Parking for "Failure
to pay for the full duration of stay"
However according to the latest info on the Hotel website it
appears this is just not possible. It states
"exit from the car park can only be achieved when the correct
payment is made"
Driver contacted Hotel who say they have no control (unlikely)
Driver told to contact Hotel again and speak to manager.
It is also noted the invoice also refers to a completely
different date and time of the "event" in its text, to that on
the right hand side.
suggestions welcome.

Looks like some kind of fault in their parking system which has
muddled the dates / payments up?

can any of the eagle eyed members see any issue with the pofa
compliance at this stage?
im thinking an RK appeal stating there must be an error in the
system and see what comes back?

Agreed. Keep the identity of the driver quiet, so you can use
PoFA later if needed, but I'd leave PoFA for now. Ocean won't be
interested in a PoFA appeal and neither will the IAS, and it
just gives them room to distract from your main point, which is
that the driver paid for their parking in full.
If they used an app, they ought to be able to get some sort of
receipt for this?

The hotel have confirmed that at the time of the alleged BoC a
charge of £16 covered a 6hr stay.
more evidence of a system error.

I would definitely bounce this back to the hotel to sort.
Explain that you are considering a social media post setting out
the hassle that this is causing you.

impossibility of being able to leave without full payment.
request for data to be deleted.
