Excessive height of restriction signs - London Tribunals win

I have been concerned for some time at the excessive height of
"Flying Motorbike" signs, which I consider fail Regulation 18 of
LATOR. So it was with some gratification that a quick browse of
successful LT cases for the 8th July turned this one up:-

The best bit is that the council decided to lower the signs
after they had served the PCN, but in their evidence submitted
photos of the lowered signs, not at the original height. Their
sheer mendacity is typical of the rapacity and venality we see
so much of. However, the appellant had taken photos of the
council engaged in the act of lowering the signs.
Unfortunately, GSV is too out-of-date to show the signs.
