HM Tribune Court Judgement for unknown Smart Parking Fine.

Hi,
So essentially, about a week ago, I received two letters in the
post, both from HM Courts and Tribunals Service. One was a big
letter saying someone by the name of Smart Parking had submitted
a judgement of £290ish for an overpaid parking fine. The other
letter was then the similar to the other saying I had not
responded in time but I could still request cancellation but
this one had a charge of £313. This big form had a form I could
submit asking to cancel. I checked the date and the big letter
was dated the 14th May and I'm not sure why it arrived so late
and with the other one.
I have contacted Smart Parking and after a week and a bit, they
responded saying my reg doesn't have any outstanding tickets.
I've had this car for nearly 3 years now.
I've then went to the website that the HM Courts asked to
'appeal' the ticket with a (N244) and give reasons why they
should cancel and it says there could be a charge of £313...
How is that fair? Either way I have to pay £313 and I have
received no information on what this court judgement is for. I'm
pretty sure I don't meet the requirements to get this
subsidised. It just seems like a terrible system and if anyone
has any suggestions, it would be very much appreciated.

Post up the letters you have received.
Hi, apologies I was away. This was the original letter I
received and then there is a 'claim form' which I think must
have got lost in the post because that came on the same day but
was date a month previous. I have also received this letter a
few days ago from DCB legal on behalf of the smart parking
company, which seems weird as they have already submitted the
form. Not sure what the best option is as when I have looked
into it, it seems like regardless of what happens now, even if I
pay the £314, I am going to have the note on my credit score, so
not sure if it is worth fighting it. I have emailed smart
parking to say I have never ever received any information about
this in the 3+ years then have had this ticket. I'm also not
sure whether I should just call the legal company and argue my
cause because atm it's taking 3 weeks each time to get a
response from smart parking. I also didn't know how to put the
images any other way than copy and pasting so see image links

Have these all come to your current address? There were some
previous cases like this - as I recall where the claim form was
not properly served (in your case it wasn't since it didn't
arrive till the same time as the default judgement) then it
might be possible to get the court to reverse it without having
to pay the fee, or pay a reduced fee if you can get Smart/DCBL
to agree to an uncontested reversal - and which if you defend
the claim you might get back. Try a search for user b789 and
N244 claims, he explained the process a few months ago, e.g.
