       Hi,
I need to reply urgently to nip dd 2.6. I've been in and out of
hospital this month hence delay replying..for offence dated
       26.3. Addressed to me.
I'm not the registered keeper or owner just driver for owner in
care home whose licence has expired, no longer driving.
Is it valid outside the 14 days?
I'm not the only user of car but only insured driver as main
       user.
       It's for 40 in a 30mph zone.
       Please advise

The first NIP, to the Registered Keeper, is the only one
required by law and so the only one subject to the 14-day time
       limit.
The NIP you have is provided for courtesy only and also because
it is produced by the same system which produces the
accompanying “request for driver’s details” (and is usually
printed on the same sheet of paper). That request is not for
courtesy, and it is not subject to any time limit. You must
respond to it within the 28 days allowed.
