       I've cut the video before it shows your child getting out but
       you can't defeat the zig-zags like this unless you were stopped
       say in a traffic queue.
       In the case posted by Mr Chips the driver was double parked
       opposite so further over but we didn't advise further after the
       council rejection.
       Do you have a confirmed tribunal hearing?
       Also you haven't posted the PCN.

       A reminder that the highway Code is guidance, not The Law. You
       also need to look in a large tome called the TSRGD, Traffic
       Signs Regulations and General Directions.
       Generally even yellow lines are operational to the centre line
       of the road and across pavements and grass verges to thee marked
       boundary lines of adjacent properties. And as others have said,
       previous case law and Tribunal decisions.

       You can quote from and emphasise words from the HC until kingdom
       come, but please don't do it for our benefit, we're not the
       arbiter, that privilege lies with the adjudicator.
       Your point is understood: you think the HC should be explicit
       about the effect of this sign snd that 'length of road' takes on
       a narrow(literally and figuratively) meaning i.e. part of a
       vehicle must be on the markings for a contravention to occur.
       You're free to argue this with them.
       But IMO, you should post the full NOR to see if there's a second
       line of defence regarding propriety.
