I recieved a Penelty Charge Notice for Contravention 23 in
Glasgow (wilson street). I was stopped for less than 3 minutes
in total, grabbed something from a friend round the corner and
was walking back when I got the ticket. He even handed it to me
as he was still filling out the details. I will post the details
below, and the evidence they have. You can even see me walking
to the drivers door in one of the photos, AND in the only photo
with my licence plate, you can see I am actively reversing
(reverse light on).
I was just wondering if there was any way to fight this? I
included a photo of Wilson Street below and you can see in the
spot I was, the green designation was faded (I attached one from
google maps but can easily get a photo of this spot for when I
actually appeal). Would contravention 23 be the correct one
here, I would have expected an EV specific contravention. My
issue comes that I am unsure which angle to appeal it from; Road
markings, contravention choice, lack of evidence (as the only
licence evidence shows the car in transit), and I am definetly
unsure if any of that is even worthwhile.
Some advice would be really appreciated!

I agree - I think this is the wrong contravention as the bay is
strictly for EV charging and not for EV parking, and also the
PCN has no description or suffix as to what the correct class
is.
Point is that an EV parked without charging cannot be the 'wrong
class'.
Assuming Scotland uses the same codes the correct contravention
is:
14 Parked in an electric vehicles’ charging place during
restricted hours without charging
