Moorside legal, witness statement as only the registered keeper

Hiya all!
Is there a template for a witness statement when you are only
the registered keeper? Like I’m not the driver and therefore
nothing to really bear witness to apart from the fact that at
the time I was the registered keeper of the vehicle? Do I need
the witness statement? Thanks in advance

No. A Witness Statement is your version of the events as they
apply to your case. On that basis we can provide advice on
witness statements, but not templates.

Your witness statement can also respond to the case against you
(including their witness statement(s)) - stating that you were
not the driver is one point, but your witness statement should
also set out why this is relevant, and why based on the facts of
the case you are not liable for the charge as the registered
keeper of the vehicle - for example by setting out how they have
failed to comply with the requirements of Schedule 4 of the
Protection of Freedoms Act 2012.
If you would like futher advice, please read the following
thread carefully and provide as much of the information it asks

Okay thanks. I have done the witness statement and served it on
both court and claimant 40 minutes before court deadline of 4pm
They however have not sent me or the court anything! Is that
normal? Does that mean the claim is practically over as they
have submitted zero evidence to the court?

Unless you have confirmed with the court that they have received
nothing you don't know that they haven't sent the court
anything, just that you have not received anything.
Hard to advise as to whether it is 'normal' as you have still
told us almost nothing about the case. We don't know who the
claimant is, what the basis of their claim is, how strong your
defence is, nor what is contained in your witness statement.
We also don't know what the deadline is for the claimant to pay
the trial fee.

Yes I do apologise, I do have other posts relating to the same
matter.
Don’t they need to serve any paperwork on both me AND the Court?
Deadline for fee is September
