Car in front, not me!???

Just got a NIP for a speed camera that I go through every couple
of months and always make a point of driving 30 through the
villages. Was really surprised to get a NIP. Photo evidence
shows 1st photo: car in front on white speed camera lines, me
some way back (about 1.5 car lengths) 2nd photo: my car at point
of very first white line, 3rd photo: yeah it's me.
I'm pretty certain that I wasn't speeding though. Is it possible
it's the car in front? How would this hold up as a defence given
the photos I've seen I'm not on the white lines at all? Adult
son in the car with me. He doesn't remember this either. TIA.

So, based on the photos, I can confidently state that you need
to have a word with yourself.

The post-processing of the snaps may have resulted in incorrect
car being identified.
But, as Andy notes, we can't comment on thin air.
