"as regards whether it is worth challenging the double white
lines charge, I would say about 7.2."
I'm sorry if I'm being thick, but I don't understand what 7.2

If you think about it, it's utterly meaningless without context,
to the extent that on the face of it there is no point posting

As mentioned, losing your job on its own is not necessarily
considered to be exceptional, however

This could have a bit more mileage in it. Can you expand on
this? Does your wife drive? Work? Do you need to ferry the kids
about to and from appointments during the day?

I'm single, live on my own in my own house.
Work is 30 miles away. It's a special needs residential school
where i am a senior care worker

Then you would need to major on the impact on others.
Would the school provide any assistance? (Detailing such
impact)

And would they be easily able to replace you if they had to "let
you go"? If he answer is "no", you will need evidence to support
that.
