The Internet Couple Chapter 2

The familiar sound of the steam blip woke Halo up the next
morning. He quickly rushed over to his computer to see who could
be spamming him with steam messages, but of course it was the
one and only Mikey. Halo quickly typed “Hey Bae! Just woke up!”
halo hoped Mikey wasn’t mad at him for sleeping in so late. “No
worries, I was just wondering when I could give you a private
teaching lesson on how to be a manager on the server.” Ooooo a
private lesson just for me?
“Oh! Of course I am free all day so you can teach me anything
and everything you want!” typed Halo back.
After the day went on and they spent a whole day together just
the two of them goofing off and having fun. It was getting late
into the night when Halo realized that Mikey was the perfect
person just for him. It took a whole hour before Halo decided
that he would tell Mikey tonight just how he felt. Just like the
first day Halo met Mikey his hands became clammy and his hands
were shaking. The chat went something like this:
Halo: Mikey I have something I need to tell you.
Mikey: Yes?
Halo: I know I have not known you for a long time but these past
couple of days but it feels like we have a real connection
together, and I think that we should do something about this.
Mikey: ….Well I would not be opposed to trying it
Halo didn’t know what to type to Mikey after that, he had never
thought about what would happen if Mikey actually agreed to it.
Yes, he always had fantasies about it but it was never an actual
realistic thought to it.
Mikey: Hello?
Halo: I’m still here! And this is amazing I just don’t know what
to say!
Mikey: All I want you to say is that you will be mine <3.
Halo: Oh of course Mikey! <3
The next couple of months were amazing. It seemed like
everything Halo wanted from Mikey, he supplied. Everything was
like expected, the sexting was great, and playing on the server
with Mikey was great, even just talking to Mikey made Halo happy
until Halo decided that this internet stuff was not enough. Halo
longed for a body to touch, to hold, and caress. He wanted
another person beside him, but most importantly he wanted
Mikey’s body beside him. Halo refused to be unfaithful which was
a good but it also made Halo desire Mikey so much more.
After a couple more months passed by Halo decided that cheating
is only if it is with another human being. He could buy himself
a pet and that would relieve his stress and give him a friend to
keep him company. Halo put a lot of thought into what pet he was
going to get. He did not want any meaningless pet, but a pet
that reminded him of Mikey.
Hours upon hours of searching the internet for what animal
looked like Mikey, it finally hit him! Halo was going to get a
Platypus! Once he decided that a platatpus is what he wanted he
quickly went on eBay to search the lowest prices for a platypus.
A couple of days the sound of the bell rang throughout the whole
house and immediately Halo knew that it was for him and his
orange wanted platypus has arrived! When he got to the door
there was no delivery guy or anybody else there just a package
with breathing holes cut out in it and the box was moving like
the animal inside was trying to get out or something.
When Halo finally got the platypus out of the box it just
looked cocked his head sideways and looked at Halo without
blinking. Halo did not know how to care for a platypus so he
just treated it like a dog which seemed to work just fine. He
bought special platypus food for it and played fetch with it
just like a dog, at night they would cuddle together on the
sofa. Late that evening he thought he would name the platypus
after Mikey since they looked so much alike and the real
companion that he wanted was Mikey. A couple of months went by
with having the platypus and still being in a secure
relationship with Mikey. Being in the same house as the platypus
created a strong bond between the two of them and they became
best friends like owner and pet should do, but maybe they became
too close of friends.
