Custom Factions

If you should have any idea for a good custom faction, post that
here.

Name of custom faction: Free Runner
What perks/abilities does the custom faction give you? I would
be able to Prop climb to roofs when not seen. And he would be
fast
How long have you been with the server/community? Around 1 or
two weeks.
Have you been banned from the FronTech HL2RP server once? No.
Have you donated? No.
How long have you been roleplaying? Around 2 years.
Certain explanation of your custom faction: (As long as
possible)
Being a Free Runner would let me climb walls (prop climb) When
not seen. I wouldnt get any other powers. It could be used to
scout MPF or Resistance or Stuff like that. As The character is
wanted by MPF and Resistance he would need to be as hidden as
possible hiding in the roofs or dark alleys in slums... People
would be a bit scared of the Free runners becouse they can
suprise them anytime...
Backstory of your character/s;
Jewel Riverall was a fine little girl at a forest... she was a
bit of a trouble maker. One time she accidently jumped from roof
to roof and she kept doing it after she found this small
glowing artifact. She loved the Artifact so much that she made
it to an necklace.When the portal storm happened she was 19
years old. She made her own tree house she could hide on. After
couple years she was assinged into a city... She still was a
trouble maker so the combine wanted her dead... she escaped to
slums while they didnt see her... She met the resistance but
they tought she was a loyalist... She got wanted by the
resistance too... She climbed to a roof becouse she knew how to
climb on places. The resistance and The Metro Police Force were
looking for her... but never knew to look at the roofs... She
became a Free Runner... The combine and The resistance want her
still dead probably.

Ahh... My very own diary. Ill have fun writing while sitting in
this tree watching the view... Hearing birds... So lovely.

This Treehouse is cool... Its peaceful here! dont have to worry
about anything... Exept that wierd hole in the sky...
Whats that? Oh god! It... Its flying and coming this way! I must

So dark here. So lonely too. Wanted by the Combine... Resistance
too. No place to go exept the roofs where no one will find me.
If i start climbing now i should be up there in no time.

Here i am... On the roofs. Good thing i grabbed some food and
drink. Looks like im gonna be here for a while...

Running out of food and drink... Must get down there to get
more. I met this nice guy... He gave me some supplies. Good.

This is probably my last part unless i get more Pages to write
on. I should change the roof. The Metro police units start
thinking that there is something. Resistance too.

The second roof is around that corner... I already threw my
supplies there. Now to climb. This is my last diary for now...
Unless i manage to get more Pages to this diary. Good bye.
reason for custom faction: Being a citizen is bit boring. So i
was thinking if i would get a custom class that is wanted by The
Combine and The Resistance. And becouse of that he would need to
hide in roofs or hidden places. It could be used for some small
events for resistance or MPF... Free runner would be wanted by
them both so they might chase him making a small chase event or
something like that.

The idea for Free Runner is good (because it's mine) and you
might do a good job on it.
I would prefer a reason for her ability to climb etc not to be
that common like climbing trees but it's okay after all.

Training division? anyone, anyone?

Name of custom faction: Well, I'm not quite sure yet, but i
would like either "Razor" or "Storm"
What perks/abilities does the custom faction give you?: It would
be a CCA/MPF Division, it would be able to train people in
shooting, melee combat, quick thinking, breaching and etc.
How long have you been with the server/community?: Not terrribly
long, but I'm looking forward to be here alot ;D
Have you been banned from the FronTech HL2RP server once?: Nope.
Have you donated?: No, not yet atleast.
How long have you been roleplaying?: I would guess around 1 ½
year.
Certain explanation of your custom faction: (As long as
possible): V V V V
So here's the idea: I would like a division who trains all other
divisions in anything that would be needed, maybe it would take
some of the DvL's job, but again it gives the DvL's time for
more important tasks as commanding and such.
They would train other units in stuff like melee combat and
tactics, also in everything from pistols use to shotguns, and
also some breaching and quick thinking.
Each division would have a special training program like: The
Union division would have advanced breaching tactics classes,
and Helix would have medical classes. Of course there would also
be a training program that everybody would have to go through,
like to get from 05 to 04 you would need to have completed...
uhm... (advanced) pistol training.
The division would also train the RCT's into a real 05 within
the first days, that way they (The RCT's) would have a chance of
knowing what to do, and when to do it, when they get out in the
field more often and maybe even on they're own.
If this should be accepted i would be happy to set up a training
sheet for each division and such, BTW i have seen this on other
servers, and trust me it's very very good. I think you surely
should give it a try, and I would be happy to join the division
aswell or maybe even be some kind of "Second in Command" in it
;D if you would like more info, just give me a heads up!

The scientist

Yet another custom faction app since im kinda bored ;D
Name of custom faction: Either his faction would just be
"Citizen" or it would be called "Scientist(s)"
What perks/abilities does the custom faction give you?: He would
be very very smart, and would probally have been working at
Black Mesa, (He would be kinda like Kleiner and have his skin).
He would also know fairly much about the combine tech and have
his own hidden lab somewhere. (Possibly petcv flags would be a
perk?(To build the lab and for experiments etc.))
How long have you been with the server/community?: Not fairly
long, yet!!!!
Have you been banned from the FronTech HL2RP server once?: Nope.
Have you donated?: Not yet atleast.
How long have you been roleplaying?: Around 1 ½ year.
Certain explanation of your custom faction: (As long as
possible):
He would be a scientist helping the rebels, when the rebels
needs advice about advanced tactics or (combine) hightech they
would go to him, he would be very much respected and seen as a
V.I.P in the rebels eyes, even though he doesnt like combat, it
doesnt mean that he wont help the rebellion getting weapons and
good ideas.
This guy would pretty much be like one of Kleiners old
co-workers at Black-Mesa. He would have his trusted lab hidden
somewhere, and only him andthe most trusted rebels would know
where it was. His skin would be Kleiners, but he would be able
to take of his white coat, and take normal citizen outfit on
(Aka writing in his desc "Wears standard civilian outfit"). He
would try to stay as neutral as possible infront of the combines
as possible, but again he will not fear them terribly much
(Unless a gun is pointed at him or such of course).
I think that this would add some great RP into the server, and
also add some more characters like: His assistent, maybe
daughter or son, and which scientist doenst need a vortigaunt?

Name: Dr. Simon Atas (Dr. Atas)
Age: 35.
Physical desc: A tall man in the 30 in a white thrench
coat/standard civilian outfit l Brown Hair l Green Eyes l Has a
innocent look on his face l Seems pretty clean in the face area
l Has glasses on l. (More to be added at a later stage if it
gets accepted)
Backstory:
Simon was hired by the administartor of Black Mesa to the big
portal project, he thought he was just the right guy thinking of
his master mind in physics and electronics. Simon wasnt much in
for it but the payment was good, and his new lab needed some
expensive equipment. So he thanked him and said yes to the job.
It took them a couple of weeks to figure out how the portal
reacted to different circumstances and what not, but then the
day came where they needed to test it, some thing went wrong and
Simon was quickly evacuated. He returned home and thought to
himself for a couple of days, he just knew something was wrong,
and that the portal was a bad thing, so he packed his stuff and
took out to his cabin in the woods.
When he reached the small cabin he quickly got all his equipment
and supplies into the cabin, he thought he would stay here for a
couple of weeks just to find himself and relax, with some
experiments of course! it didnt take long untill big heavy
planes where flying over the cabin, he was thinking the airbase
not so long from there was testing some kind of new plane, so he
ignored it. Later he turned on is TV and saw that all the
channels was directed to Channel 991 (Something i made up) the
ancor said that a invasion was started and all the major cities
was falling one by one, Simon thought to himself that he knew
something hadnt been right, and that must had been the loud
sounds earlier.
Luckly he had taken some food with him, enough to atleast a
couple of weeks, but what should he do after that? he made his
car ready for his long trip and took most of his equipment and
food with him, then he started driving towards his home city,
you may think he was gone mad, and maybe he was, but he couldnt
let this oppurtunity for new alien high tech knowledge get away.
He wasnt so stupid he took the main road in, no no, he drove
into the city by a old road that ended close to his house, there
he went down into his basement and unpacked his stuff, now all
he could do was to wait for the invasion to settle down.
It didnt take long, around 7-8 hours and everything was all
silent. It couldnt be, but it was right, in the middle of the
town a big tower was touching the skyes. He encountered a group
of men outside his house, they were looking for supplies to
salvage, he greeted them inside and started asking tons of
questions.
He figured out that they were a rebel group seeking to bring
down the.. what was it.. hmmm... I think they called them the
"Combines" and he was told that the were the most cruel
creatures known to mankind, he told about his past in Black Mesa
and what was happend and they agreed that the group of men would
bring food and supplies to Simon if he would help figuring a way
to bring the aliens down.
Simon forged a strong bond with the men and he did meet these
combines a few times when he wasnt in his lab, and here we are.
George closes the diary and looks over at Simon while cracking a
smile.
George says: I like it, i really really like it....
If you would like more info about this please head me up, and i
hope that this will get accepted! it WILL add more RP to the
citizen/refugee/rebel side, and it could becool if the combines
would find the place at some point (Place=his lab) it could set
a major lockdown up.

About the training division:
We already got our certain divisions (Union, Apex, Judge,
Javelin). There won't be added more and there are always some
spare high ranked units to train the lower ones so no need for
that- good idea though.
About the scientist thingy:
It would be kinda hard for a citizen to get high tech labware
and combine tech knowledge in a secret lab...
Maybe we can add it later though but we should get a bigger
playerbase for that. I don't want a resistance with high black
mesa-combine tech weapons, you know?
Although, if this is gonna be accepted and you have proven
yourself you might get that class.
