Blind buying Epices Marine?

This would be a birthday present for my husband. Gentlemen, your
knowledge, opinions and advice would be greatly appreciated.
This is one pricey gift if I order it...
He has Eau des Merveilles and Terre d'Hermes Eau Tres Fraiche
and they suit him well.
In addition I like Mousson, Vanille Galante, Osmanthe Yunnan,
Eau d'Hermes.
Dislike Elixir des Merveilles and Ambre Narguile for their
sweetness.
Mousson being the only "aquatic" (and I don't even find it
aquatic but rather dry, airy and spicy) I have ever liked, I'm
suspicious of Epices Marine.
What do you think? Thank You in advance.

Sorry as I have never smelled it but cumin and sea water? Odd to
say the least. The reviewers say it smells like Cartier
Declaration which is like 1/10 the price and used to be a
favorite of mine back in the day.

Epice marine did not do it for me, at all. Granted, I am not a
marine note person to begin with, but if you look at the grade
(3,7 / 5), this is not a beloved Hermessence. At this ludicrous
price, avoid.
Hermès Equipage géranium, though. Now that is perfume.

To be sure Epice Marine is the worst (or least enjoyable) one in
the Hermessence line! If you want a really great one for your
husband, take Poivre Samarcande, this one's divine!
