Tips For Fighting Acne

Hi girls :)
I've found that acne is usually due to overactive sebaceous
glands or oily skin.
The biggest tip when fighting acne is having a skin care system
that is all "natural" and "oil free", possibly Botanical
Based. During Summer months when temperatures are much warmer,
keeping moist wipes that lack fragrance to remove heavy sweat
and oil from the face and neck areas. Don't forget SPF 30! Night
time facial care is also important, especially to remove make up
due to its pore clogging potential.

I've been fighting acne since the age of about 14, and I'm 28
now! Naturally, I had to try a countless number of products to
find the one (or two, to be more exact) that was really
effective for me. I was prescribed Differin and Clindamycin
(antibiotic) and have been using them for three years since
nothing compares to them. Differin is also available over the
counter, and both were about $10 for me with health insurance.
Highly recommend. I even wrote a blog post about my experience
with fighting acne, if anyone is interested:

My best tip for fighting acne is to not overdo it. I know it's
hard not to want to wash your face a 4-5 times a day, but this
can dry your skin, and in response, cause it to produce more
oil. Acne is very much influenced by hormones, so it is
important to keep your skin clean to keep bacteria at bay.
If drugstore products don't work, I suggest seeing a
dermatologist for a solution.
