       Types of perfumes that tend to age like fine wine

       What type of fragrances that are well over 10 or 25 or even more
       years to age considerably well and smell ever better?
       One thing I noticed personally is that spicy oriental also heacy
       powdery scents tend to age well and aquatic citrusy scents age
       horribly and go bad after a year or two even with proper
       storage.
       What are your insights or experiences on type pf perfumes that
       smell better as they age?

       I would agree that orientals tend to age better than most,
       although even they have a tendency to lose their top notes. I
       have a mini of vintage Opium, and while the middle and base
       notes are intact and glorious, the top notes smell of burnt
       rubber.

       Vanilla ages well
       Had an original bottle of  Christian Dior Dior Addict the juice
       turned dark brown and the scent became a little more boozy. Had
       it for over 10 years.
       Had another bourbon vanilla scent for over 10 years that smelt
       even better when i found it after a long time.
