Gucci Guilty Absolute is being discontinued?

I heard from a Dillard’s store manager that this fragrance will
be discontinued in the near future. Is this true? Anybody knows
of a good substitute?
While this is a very unique woody/leathery fragrance that does
not smell like any other mainstreamed stuff out there, I
absolutely love it. It’s not mass appealing, so I could see why
Gucci would decide to pull the plug on it. The combination of
earthy, wood, and leather is just perfect.

Nir Guy at Perfumology told me the same. GG Absolute was a
daring scent for Gucci, and probably just didn't sell like the
rest of the line

Seems like guerilla marketing to try and get people to rush out
and buy multiple bottles.

Is this juice really that popular? My Nordstroms Rack has like a
hundred gift sets on sale there for months.

Popularity fluctuates based on demographic. I don’t think this
is quite (nor ever will be) as popular as Sauvage, but the scent
is unique enough for my liking.

It indeed is daring, and that’s why I love it so much. It does
not smell like the typical fruity, sweet, citrus, Sauvage-y that
most line ups have nowadays. The scent is pure simple and good.
