Where are those "dark side" cookies I hear so much abo
ut?

No, seriously. I hear they're amazing~ <3
*ahem* Anyhoo, I guess I should start by introducing myself. The
username that I normally go by on all writing archives that I'm
a part of would be dark_wing19. No, it's not affiliated with
Darkwing Duck, but if it happens to bring forth some good
memories of your childhood, then by all means go with it~ If you
happen to be uncomfortable with using “Dark” or any of the other
pseudonyms I use for online things, then feel free to call me by
my given name. (It's Desireé~)
I guess I should say a little about my personal life. I work a
full-time job in retail as a merchandising coordinator. I'm the
person that makes the sales floor look all nice and pretty until
[s]gremlins[/s] [s]imps[/s] children come in and destroy my
pretty displays and pull all the clothes off the hangers. [s]Not
to mention completely destroy toys because their parents don't
watch them, but I digress.[/s] *sobs* My hobbies include
reading, writing, singing, and nail art.
As far as my writing goes, I must confess that I'm a terrible
authoress. v.v I take forever with updates. I apologize in
advance for that. There are many things in my life that make it
difficult to get any writing done... But I do try to update when
I can. Just don't expect my things to be updated instantly or
steadily. (Unless it's already completed...then there really
shouldn't be a problem.) I'm a fan of the bittersweet and angsty
genre, or anything dark in general. Most of what I write has
tons of angst and drama loaded in it. Don't get me wrong, I try
with fluff—I really do—but it takes me some time to get used to
it. I'm not exactly a romantic myself, so it's hard to tune in
with those feels. (I still love to read it though!) I'm trying
to branch out into other genres, though.
Here's a list of my fandoms. (Everything italicized is what I
strictly read or have fallen out of the characterization to
comfortably write for them.)
Katekyo Hitman Reborn! (My main fandom)
Ouran High School Host Club
Final Fantasy 7
Kingdom Hearts
Hetalia
Gundam Wing
Fruits Basket
Bleach
Saiyuki
Pokémon
Durarara!!
Yu Yu Hakusho
Fullmetal Alchemist
Skip Beat
And of course Original Fiction~
Generally speaking, though, I'll read just about anything so
long as the plot is good.
And I think that's just about it for me. Nothing too exciting.
^^;;
…
Now, how about those cookies.

*slides you a plate of Halloween cookies and a glass of milk*
Reminds me of the last batch I made. It was supposed to make 32.
I'd never baked cookies before....I'm a cake person. I managed
to get 10 huge cookies out of it. Don't judge me. It looks so
small in dough form and I didn't look at the front of the box,
gosh dangit! D;
*cough*
Welcome, lovely~ It's good to see you here. ^^ I may not comment
but I've enjoyed reading about your horror movie adventures.
Definitely some interesting ones I'll have to try out. I'm not a
big movie person. Romances make me roll my eyes and I'm not
easily scared. So few funny movies are actually...well, funny.
xD Maybe it's me.
Hope you enjoy your stay here. We won't fluff your pillows or
leave complimentary mints but you might find certain bishies
hogtied in your closet from time to time. Speak nothing of it.
It's the least we can do~ ;D

Yay! Cookies!!! *noms on them* :3
Don't feel bad; when I first started baking, I went through the
same issue with cookies. I usually ended up with like twenty
instead of twenty-four or however many I was supposed to get out
of that batch of dough. Meh. >.>
Haha! I'm a big horror fan, but the horror movies nowadays are
so...depressing. In actuality, I'm not much of a movie buff
either. I don't care for watching movies, but I generally try to
make the exception for either horror movies or hanging out with
friends. [s]Besides, why watch movies when I could be playing
games?[/s] I'm the same way with romance. It's just...ick. I can
do comedy if it's like...Adam Sandler comedy. I'm not too
interested in Seth Rogan comedy. (Mainly because most of his
movies revolve around pot or something of that nature.)
And I most certainly wouldn't mind finding a bishie in my
closet~ ;D Haha! Thank you for the welcome. ^^

Welcome!!! If you have any questions/comments/concerns let me
know. :) and as for parents not watching their kids. Trust me. I
understand. I work at a deli and where are the parents when the
kids are running around? Eating. Yup.

Ewww, I know that pain. D: Parents often let their kids wander
around while they shop...and it's always the customers that like
to take more than an hour just browsing and picking through
things. Dx
Meanwhile, they let their kids play tag around the store. :| And
we can't say anything. [s]Sometimes I just want to throw a peg
on the floor and let them trip over it, but that would be mean
and probably hurt someone.[/s]

I just the kids nicely not to do that. Example, i was taking the
parents' order. And as their back is turned, theor one son is
climbing inside the cooler. I went "Do you need help? I don't
want you to get hurt." Thank goodness he parents were actually
good and pulled him off the cooler before it fell on top of him.
Most of the time the parents don't care. :-/
