Dreadful Say What?

[font=georgia]Since we've opened this Index, and it's our new
beginning, I think now's as good a time as any to explain the
name change that may leave a lot of you confused--especially the
ones who don't pay attention. Don't worry, I still love you.
Muffin-Chan is no longer. She began her life back in 2006, with
a name that inspired hunger and a desire for pastries. My
favorite of all the nicknames that came from "Muffin-Chan" was
in fact, Pastry Woman. A giant shout-out to Hiei and his waifu
Felina for that one, I will forever remember it fondly.
Muffin-Chan lived out her existence tossing out mini-muffins and
generally being fluffy and delicious to every person she
encountered, but it soon became apparent that name was not meant
to last forever. All good things must come to an end, and even
picturesque fairytales have their "happily ever after". Last I
heard, Muffin-Chan retired her baking business to live with her
Muffin Man on Drury Lane. We wish them all the best.
Standing before you now, is not Muffin-Chan. I'll not answer to
that name anymore, as that is not who I am. Anyone who knows
anything about me at all, knows that I never go by my real name
and you should never ever use it because it's the debil. Dated
Waterboy reference aside, I've been struggling with what to call
myself pretty much my entire life. I'm a pretty eccentric,
eclectic person but there are some things about me that will
never change. I like dark, macabre, horror and gore and yet I've
got a personality that seems quite cute, bubbly, and entirely
too cheerful for the often grotesque menagerie I enjoy and
readily partake in. I needed a title that represented both sides
of my personality, and though it took some doing, I think I've
come into a name, a title, that I'll be comfortable using for
the rest of my days.
Dot Dreadful, is what you can call me. {Pauses before shaking
her head, waving her hand around.} Well, not that whole thing,
how terribly formal that would be. No, that's just the full
title. You may call me Dot, or Dottie, or even Dreadful. I also
answer to Madame, Dame, and any other authoritative title
because I'm a vain bitch who likes the way it sounds. It's
important you understand the name change, because once the
Archive is back up, all of my stories and all of the new things
I've been working on, will go under this new name. Searching for
Muffin-Chan won't get you anywhere, and if you don't remember,
anytime anyone else mentions me under my new name you may get
yourself rather confused.
Now, for those of you who are new and didn't know me as
Muffin-Chan, this may all seem very confusing to you--disregard
it and simply know I'm introducing myself as Dottie. {Smiles.}
That sound better? There's a few things you ought to know about
me, too. For starters, I co-own the Archive with Felina Frenzy
(otherwise known as Monica) and we are in the process of working
with the rest of the Staff to get the Archive back up and
running, in a brand new way. You can find more out about that by
clicking around on the Index, we are going to be keeping
everyone updated proper as more and more news comes to us.
On a personal level, I'm 24 years old and I am a college
graduate. I have a cat named Phoenix who is the love of my life,
and I'm a lesbian who would only give up said love of vageen if
fictional characters were real and/or available per my request.
I'm wildly inappropriate and I'm that friend who turns anything
you say dirty. I don't care if you find it offensive or if I
offend you, because it's the internet, so go cry about it
somewhere else. I'm actually incredibly sweet and friendly but I
have a zero tolerance policy for bullshit. Don't take it
personal, because chances are it isn't personal and I wouldn't
know you from a hole in the ground--it's just Felina and I have
standards we expect everyone to adhere to while spending time on
our Archive and Forum Index, and that does include you.
I love video games and comic books (diehard Marvel fangirl right
here), though I'm pretty oblivious and clueless when it comes to
Anime&Manga save for a very select few. It also stands to be
mentioned while I was never really into television, I got sucked
into Netflix and now...now I don't know where the majority of my
last few months have gone. D: My favorite color is purple (with
my second being achromatic/monochrome), my favorite animals are
sloths, whales, and cats (wild and domestic), my current
favorite music genre is Psybient and my astrological sign is a
Cancer. If you know anything about astrology, it's that a Cancer
keeps everything hidden inside it's shell; I am very much the
opposite of "what you see is what you get". If you want to see
it, you'll have to work to get it--but I welcome you to try.
Otherwise, until the Archive goes back up and I can put up my
proper bio, if you have any questions, feel free to get in

He's still calling me Fido even though my genderbender days are

You won't be too mad at me if I accidentally call you "Muffin,"
will you? I've known you by that name for so long that it's
gonna take me a while to change it in my head. Once I know
someone by a certain name, it becomes difficult for me to think
of them as anything else. :-\
