       Activity plan April/May

       The forWords Programme for
       April & May, 2024.
       
       We will start every meeting with our usual, hour-long, reading &
       feedback session. Most weeks we also have a forty-five minute,
       ‘Writing Related Activity.’
       
       Once a month, on the first Tuesday, we have a two-hour-long,
       ‘Workshop Session.’
       
       Please note, all activities listed here are subject to possible
       change. People intending to organise activities do get ill
       sometimes or have to cancel for one reason or another.
       The Activities planned/intended for the next few weeks:
       
       16th April​
       An informative session on Blogging, led by Simone

       23rd April​
       A workshop on Editing: hints and tips, led by Andy
       
       30th April​
       A workshop on how forWords Forum works: how to register, how to
       post, led by Tez
       
       7th May​
       A workshop on ‘Self-Publishing:
       Chapbooks – small cheap
       ​​​​​​Pamphlets – modest
       cost
       ​​​​​​Bound books – options
       & providers, led by Tez
       
       14th May​​
       A workshop on ‘Children’s story Writing’: how to create a
       children’s story, led by Simone
       
       21st May​
       A workshop on ‘Character & Character Development’, led by Leslie
       
       28th May​
       A workshop on ‘Performing your work: how to project!’, led by
       Brian Hill
       
       Activities to be scheduled in June 2024:
       
       • Public Reading Night
       • An evening of reading: small groups will be formed e.g. novel,
       poetry and we will listen to each other’s work and share
       thoughts and ideas.
