SINGAPORE RACE REPORT ASF:
Q: 2nd; for a second there I thought that my prime time of
1:33.6 was going to hold, but Moussa took me at the last second,
the bugger :P. I made a drastic setup change minutes before
quali and I'm glad it worked for the better cus my previous time
was slower and on options...
R: 3rd + 40sec penalty; got a decent launch off the line and
Moussa almost gave me turn 1, but he took it and I stayed glued
to the rear of his car for 3 laps straight. I almost overtook
him into the first right hander in sector 3, but couldn't make
it stick. My tires started going to **** at around lap 6 or so,
and Moussa began to pull away almost a second a lap ahead. I was
going to pit the same lap as him to keep on a positive
strategy...and I thought we were definitely pitting earlier than
lap 8, but alas we waited til 8 to come in and I put on the
options...
2nd stint was pretty uneventful...lapped Josh once I believe,
but came back in on lap 12 for another set of options.
3rd stint I made a mistake on pit out on the left-hander before
the triple chicane...whacked the wall and damaged my front wing.
Moussa must have made a mistake up ahead as well because the gap
closed a slight bit...but pitted on lap 16 for a new wing and
more options
4th stint I had an issue with Paul's lagging car, was hoping he
would just pull over, but he kept appearing on the screen 100 ft
or so up ahead. Moussa pulled away to about 10 sec or so and I
finally moved past Paul. At this point, I realized Livo was
becoming a real threat...as on my lap 12 stop, he was 20 sec
behind but had closed the gap to less than 10. I pitted on 20
for more options.
5th stint, uneventful. Livo was closing and closing quickly. Put
primes on on lap 24.
Final stint...I knew Livo was going to be on the options at the
end, so I kept the gap 20 sec behind until he pitted. He exited
the pits about 5 sec behind me. I was making quite a few
mistakes out of nervousness at this point and Livo wound up
right behind me. I took the inside on lap 28 going down the DRS
straightaway and held him off for the whole rest of the lap,
then on 29, I knew he had a bigger run on me so I left the door
open at the end of the straightaway...he didn't come through, so
I made the turn and got hit off and (we both) got a 20 sec
penalty. Such bullcrap. I wound up cutting the left hander going
onto the short shoot before the triple chicane and earned +20
more. Now mind you, I cut maybe 4 corners all race
long..........and suddenly I earn 40 seconds penalty for an
incident that I didn't cause, and then got the infamous "double
whammy" because of the first penalty.
I held on to the end and came in 3rd...but luckily Macca was
over a minute behind so it was safe.
I lobbied to get this league to turn the rules down to reduced
from realistic, because I'm sick of seeing unfair penalties
being issued. I don't know what sort of scheme they used when
making the game, but had Macca been closer to me, I could've
lost a good position after running 90% of the race perfectly. I
don't wanna make it seem like I'm complaining now, months after
the game came out, but I have seen in my other leagues people
get unfair penalties and it just hurts now that I've had 2 races
in a row with penalties that I do not deserve.
Driver of the Day: Livolay, as he was just driving like he was
on fire from starting on last place. Unbelievable drive again.

qualifying report-1st place
1st runs (options), lost my wing, 2nd run (options) and had some
traffic 1:33.8**, 3rd run ( primes) drove carefull and took
pole.
race report- 1st place
it was a quiet race for me, had some bad experiance previously
in singapore with invisible walls, so i drove as carefull as
possible, there was a gap bettween me drew and livo so i took it
easy, because any little mistake u do u pay good here, did a
couple of mistakes here and there, and overlapping here is
rediculous, very little space to pass ppl, i was stuck behind
paul for a couple of laps trying to overlap him, his car was
going slow and glitching like crazy, im sure it was just a lag
and unintentionally but there i lost a couple of seconds.
i pitted 4 times had only two options available to use so i
used 3 primes, and i wasnt confortable with the primes on heavy
fuel, they felt clumbsy and strugled with grip, but overall i
was happy with the race, couldve been a second faster each lap,
but why take risks. great drive by livo and drew very
profesional

Q 10th :o Had DRS open as I took the turn to start 1st flying
lap. No cars behind me & off the track so reversed & got hit
with a penalty >:(
R 2nd +20sec What a race. Started 9th with Kiwi disconnected &
quickly past Josh for 8th. Made contact with Gazza on the corner
after the straight & was at the back again. I had nowhere to go
as there where cars everywhere.
I caught up to Paul, he was lagging all over the place which
cost me a drive thru. I remained calmed thinking that a safety
car would come eventually as this track is very unforgiving with
mistakes. Despite several DNF's it wasn't to be & I was pushing
like mad putting in qualy laps for the rest of the race.
Managed to overtake everyone cleanly up to 3rd as they made
mistakes when I caught them, although of course I lost time
waiting for the opportunity to pounce.
4 stops was definitely the correct strategy & on my last stint I
was pushing like mad to catch Drew.
On the penultimate lap I caught him on the straight &
surprisingly he left a gap for me which gave me the inside
position. I was definitely along side if not ahead but braked
earlier which meant he came across me as I passed the apex of
the corner & we collided. We both got hit with penalties but at
the time I thought I was resigned for 3rd place which I was
fuming about >:(. Also think it was unfair that Drew got a
penalty as he was spun & I wasn't. Go figure!
I was drenched in sweat at the end & relieved to finish 2nd. Was
a really tough race!

Q-5th was about the fastest I could go around here.
R-6th Started pretty well, hit Livo again, sorry dude was not
intentional, copped a drive through for my efforts, went to the
back and tried to catch all the front runners, was on my own for
the majority of the race, put some pressure on Ben for 6th
position and he made a mistake so took that place and finished
6th, not happy with myself could of done better, thats racing.
Hard track.
Driver of the Day, Moss, Pole and Win, good racing mate.
