sounds great gaz but i think fri or sat mite be a bite hard as
most things that come up are on these days eg partys world cup
and so forth maybe thursday night would be better? but im easy
for anyday.also what points system are we going to use ? i would
prefer the system that the real racing uses what do you guys
think ?

James won't be able to race thursday and some might be working,
maybe wednesday night? we will wait to see who joins and get
their thoughts before we decide.

Please post any suggestions you might have for the game as more
input from everyone will certainly help things go smoother,
these subjects can then be discussed and voted on by all players
and put into practice but we must have a majority for or
against.

Hi guys I would like to put the idea out there of upping the
race distance to 75%. I have had some great races online at this
distance. The longer races tend to open up more strategy
options. Option tires last allot longer as the wear is scaled
accordingly. Would feel like a bit more of a serious event to
me. Worth spending some time leading up to the race and qualy on
setups and the likes.
Up to you guys though Im happy to go with whatever the majority
want.

I personally think that 75% is a little long...most 50% races
last an hour, which I think is plenty of time to run laps and
make sure your strategies/setups are good.
Plus, with a 75% race, you run the risk of someone potentially
having a connection problem, and Lord knows if I lose my
connection with 2 or 3 laps to go, I will be extremely angry.

Hi Guys,
I'd like to join you for this, but Wednesday nights are out for
me for the next 8 weeks (I'm doing an evening class). So if you
don't mind moving it to Monday, Tuesday or Thursday I'll be in.
As for race distance, 50% is good I reckon.
EDIT: And I just realised I should probably have posted this in
the Race Day & Start Time section!

OK 50% it is, Im happy with that too. Supernash I don't know
about the others but Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday could work
for me.

One other question... how do we allocate cars to drivers? And
how do we sort out teams. How about the idea of a draw, I mean
put all the names in a hat and do a draw maybe for cars and team
mates?
Other than that my prefered car in order of preference would be
as follows...
McLaren (sorry Kiwi haha)
Renault
Mercedes
Ferarri
As far as teams go I wouldn't mind teaming up with Drew.... hold
on, second thoughts that mind end up like the Alonso Hamilton
season at McLaren since we are so close in terms of lap times!!
Im happy to be team mates with any of you guys as I know you are
all good racers.
