hello my name is Moussa, 25, lebanese, currently in california,
i love racing, try hard to race as clean as possible.
qualifying report(3rd):
had 3 runs.
my first run on primes, was a warm up lap, did a 1:14.2xx, then
pitted for new tires
my second run on primes, made a big mistake in turn one, so my
first sector was terrible but 2nd and third sector paid of so i
managed to shave 2 tenths of my first run.
third run on options, purple on sector 1, then corner cutting so
i lost that lap.
race report(2nd):
my start was great, but being a lil too cautious in turn one
made me lose first place, my first couple of laps i was losing
sometime with understeer, but then on lap 5 started getting my
driving style back, so i stayed consistently at 2 seconds behind
supanash.
at lap 6 supanash, pitted for new tires, and my tires started to
wear out, losing almost 3 seconds a lap to supanash, so i pitted
on lap 9 for new primes, and rejoint 10 seconds behind supanash,
around 7 laps i was albe to close the gap by a fw seconds to
supanash, his tires were heavely warn at the end so that made me
close up the gap, and he pitted about 2 seconds ahead of me.
after a few laps, and supanash with fresh tires, he shaved a
couple of seconds of me, so i pitted with 5 seconds ahead of
supanash at lap 18 for new primes, and he was arround 13 seconds
ahead of me, 2 laps later supanash lost arround 4 seconds
(trying to over lap someone?), so the gap went down to 9
seconds, so i pushed the tires as much as i could, supanash
pitted at lap 25? i think and that lap he lost a few seconds
with his tires being totaly gone lol, a few laps later i pitted
for my options, supanash was 9 seconds ahead, had lost some time
trying to over lap some forca india, could be by mistake, after
that i just drove to the finish line with supanash 3.5 seconds
ahead.
congratulatios to supanash u were unbeatable. if only i could
save my tires, i could only go fast for a couple of laps then
immediatly they get heavely warn.

First of all, I want to apologize to my teammate, Gary, because
I feel like somehow I managed to ruin his race and that caused
him to drop out and sign off immediately after we left. For some
reason we seemed to not get along on the track today and I don't
know why so I'm sorry if you left because of me man, I'm a bit
ashamed. :'(
HUNGARY RACE REPORT ASF:
Q: 6th, nothing crazy to report here...only went for 1 lap stint
on 3 separate occasions to save my tires as I noticed this track
seems to chew them up real fast. Upgraded to 5th once Livo
disconnected
R: 4th, had a good launch off the line and easily picked off
Chris going into turn 1 and slid in behind Macca. At the start
of lap 2, Gaz called out that he was on my outside at turn 1,
which confused me because I thought I was near the grass on the
outside so I sort of panicked and overshot the turn and we both
went off. I rejoined just ahead of Chris.. and Macca was a good
3-4 seconds ahead at this point. Exiting the chicane in sector
2, I cut the corner and then put a wheel off on the inside of
the next left and earned a fine drive through penalty. So I
served it and dropped to last, about 8 sec behind Ben. I passed
Chris' spun out force India a couple of laps later into 8th, and
cycled through up to 6th after my first pit stop.
2nd stint on options, I continued to make ground on Ben, and
leapfrogged him at the start of my 3rd stint on lap 11. I
believe he earned a drive through on his out lap, so my 6th
place was solidified. I went to work on Kiwi up ahead and after
about 2 laps I opened my DRS and got him entering turn 1 for 5th
(only one pass on Kiwi this week!!). Gaz was about 15 sec ahead
so I tried to keep a consistent pace and keep my tires from
shredding.
By the end of my 3rd stint, Gaz was only 3 sec ahead, so I paced
myself nicely through my 4th stint and after a few tries, was
able to pass Gaz in DRS around lap 25 or 26. I pulled a slight
gap on him but we seemed to be faster than one another at
different parts of the track. I would catch him through the
twisty part and he was fast for the first half of the track.
Going into turn 15 (the left hander leading to the pit lane), I
guess I may have tapped Gaz ??? as he seemed angry and I looked
down and saw that he got spun out or something on the minimap.
He entered the pits on the next lap and I pitted on lap 29 for
options.
When I came out of the pit lane, Gaz was right on my tail so I
let him go on the straightaway between turns 4 & 5 so as not to
hold him up while my tires were still cold, but I think he got
confused because he slowed along next to me for a few seconds
but I told him to just go. Lap 31 or 32 I overtook him in DRS
again, and when we entered turn 5, I think I may have touched
him again! ??? He had a run on me going up the straight but I
don't think it's possible to go on the outside of that turn? So
was a bit confused about that situation. I brought the car home
in 4th, barely hanging on to the lead lap.
Was a good race overall for me, but just sorry that I had such
an intense struggle with my teammate. This is all speculation,
of course, until I see the footage.. but I do think I am the
only reason why Gaz would just leave us like that post-race...
Driver of the Day has to go to Supanash, just blistering pace
and not anything I could possibly keep up with. Glad we had
Moussa around this race to shake things up for Nashy while Livo
had gotten disconnected...
Hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Year if I don't see
you!

Q-4 R-3
Qualifying didn't go too bad and I secured a second row spot. I
tried my teammates set up during my first hot lap and I wasn't
comfortable on that so went back to mine. Thanks anyway Chris.
Race start was good with Livo dropping out I trailed moss and
Nash who were side by side into turn one. I think it was drew on
my outside and I think gun was nearby too but I'm not sure as I
was focused on the rear wing of moss as I did not want to hit
him under braking.
Once the race settled down it was clear to me that I could not
challenge the two guys in front so I was just trying to manage
the gap back to fourth place which was between drew and gaz.
I think I saved too much fuel to as I finished with 3 laps still
in the tank.
Strategy
Options 5 laps
Primes 12 laps
Primes 13 laps
Options 5 laps
Pretty happy with another podium for the curry munchers.

Q - 2. Did a 1:13.7 on my first hotlap. Livo beat it by a few
hundredths I think. Was going faster in my second run but made a
stupid corner cut. Happy with 2nd though.
R - 1. This race was all about tyres.
I got a reasonable start. Moss was alongside going into turn 1
but played fair and left me room on the outside. After that I
was able to pull out a couple of seconds, which meant I was out
of DRS range. I pitted on lap 5 for primes and more or less won
the race in the next 5 or so laps. With my fresh tyres I was
able to close up on Moss who was struggling on his worn primes.
When he came out from his first stop I was around 10 seconds
ahead. After that, every time Moss was on fresh tyres he gained
on me, and when I was on fresh tyres I pulled out a lead again.
I had a scary moment when Ben lost control in front of me when I
was lapping him. I thought it was going to be a repeat of
Silverstone, where I crashed into Josh. That episode cut 4
seconds or so off my lead and I lost another couple being held
in the pits on my final stop. Fortunately, I just about had
enough in hand to get to the finish line without being in real
danger.
My pitstops:
started on options
lap 5 prime
lap 15 prime
lap 25 prime
So I did 10 laps on each of the 3 sets of primes. Lap 10 was
difficult each time, but it was probably just about worth it to
avoid doing a 4th stop. Can't believe Macca did 12 and 13 laps
on his primes!
I'll probably bump into some of you online (literally) over the
next week or two but, if I don't, have a great Christmas.

just seeing my video, not stopping at lap 27 did not help, i
lost more than five seconds that lap, damn. lol
next time arround im going for a 4 stopper, i think its worth
it. atleast for my setup
1 prime 3 options

How would you do that strategy moss?
That would be tuff, the wear on the options was pretty severe.

what i mean is a 4 stop strategy wouldve been better than a
three stop.
start with primes then pit lap 7 or 8 for another set of primes
then pit lap 16 for a set of options
then lap 22 for options
then lap 28 for option.
the option tires are perfect for 6 laps least. i counted the how
much time i lost every time i lost my tires and it was 15
seconds, thats pitstop time, and how much time i couldve
improved with the options, maybe maybe extra 5 6 seconds.
me and supanash were strugling even tho we used primes for 3/4
of the race

Moss - Wednesday nights we usually either do a 3-lap
championship or lately we've been messing around with 20% no
assist races to practice for season 2 where we will be turning
assists off. We start at the same time we started last night
(midnight Cali time), so if you're on I'm sure Gazza will invite
you.

i have no problem racing with u guys to train for next season,
thing is im not using manual at the moment because im not happy
with the new wheel padels, it skips gears when u down shifts,
and its kinda slow when you shift up, but il give it a try maybe
im just used to the g27 padels. :)
heres my video for hungary race:
