@Gun Dunno what happened mate. I couldn't see you & I thought I
left enough room. I didn't feel any contact either :/
Did you disconnect or just quit?
My 3rd disconnect this year, yay!

I'm disconnected as well...
I have no qualifying story...
R: Got a drive-thru on lap 1 for hitting Josh in turn 1...sorry
about that Josh nowhere for me to go, I tried to scoot around
the outside of Kiwi and I dodged him right into Josh. Served my
drive-thru and tried to claw my way back through the field and
there were cars making mistakes everywhere so I just took
advantage of all of them and saw myself into 3rd place.
Got disconnected on lap 10. :(

Q=4. R=1st
Well I didn't have much expectations for this race as I hadn't
done any set up work. I was sitting in 6th with three minutes to
go in qualifying which I thought would be about my lot. So for
my last run I made a few setup tweaks and managed to drag my
curry muncher up to the second row alongside my team mate Chris.
My start was great, swerved round a non starting Nash and used
short shift plus full kers to get up alongside gun. Gun seamed
super cautious under braking into turn one. I was also breaking
pretty early as I didn't want to ram anybody especially my team
mate. Despite this I made a nice pass on gun round turn one and
watched as Livo ran wide. I could hardly believe it here I was
leading the race.
Ben pushed me pretty hard until I made a tiny mistake and he got
past. I still had a big gap back to third so I turned my fuel
down and kept a reasonable gap to Ben. Ben stopped but I stayed
out as my tires stil wernt too bad. I was for sure allot slower
though as he cought back up to around 5 odd seconds before he
pitted again for another set of wets. The whole time my race
engineers saying the rain is going to stop. Sure enough he was
right and the sky became lighter, there was less spray coming
off my rear wing and ther was a dry line starting to appear. I
thought maybe I should stop for inters as my tires were red and
my engineer was telling me they were blistered for a few laps
but I decided to do one more lap then come in for a set of
options. It was the perfect time I think.
Really happy to get my second win but sorry for you guys that
dropped out or had problems with connections.
Il give my driver of the day to Ben this week. Good racing mate
thanks for not taking a crazy lunge during the phases of the
race where you were faster than me.

Argh!
Q - 2.
Only managed 1 clean banker quali lap which was a 125.3 I think.
Went out to try and improve but had to abort when I got an SMS
from work. Messed up the final hotlap because I was worried
about getting another message from work!
Thought work problems were all resolved and was looking forward
to the race. I think my race pace would have been good, and I'm
usually pretty consistent in the wet. However...
R - DSQ
Got another call from work at the worst time. Just as we were
lining up on the grid. Couldn't wait for the grid animation,
lights on and off before answering. Tried to warn people, but
probably only a few heard. Really sorry if I screwed up anyone's
race. I did manage to steer the car off to the side while I
spoke to my work colleague and was planning to carry on the race
when I finished the call, even if I was a couple of laps down,
but the game decided I was behaving badly and disqualified me.
I get called from work for a crisis maybe twice a year. Pretty
bad luck for it to happen on a race night :(

Qually 6th, smashed into the back of Supanash on the start,
didn't hear his call, oh well, went to the back, went off a few
times then dragged my way back up to third as everyone dropped
out, stayed there until the last lap and Josh got the only DRS
for the race and passed me, finished 4th, pretty happy with
that. Driver of the Day would have to be Beno, first podium
finish, well done mate. Good 3rd Joshua your first podium too.
Macca, another good win mate cheers. ;)

Q 3rd
R- rage quit
i had a wet set up for the hamburgerring which came in
handy....i think both me and macca had a really good start we
seemed to pass nash and catch livo off the line...livo ran wide
at turn 1..i got a little helleo im here tap from macca coming
out of turn 1 so i backed off and let him through....lap 3 i
think it was, force india 1 and 2 i ran a little wide at turn 3
so coming up to turn 4 i had the inside line livo tried a pass
on the outside,in doing so he clipped my left side sending me
directly into the wall...i had no wing and had to wait for the
whole field to go by till i could move...it was a racing
incident and it was only the slightest of taps
well done macca ;)
