Glad I made in time for the race.....
A guest appearance by me...started at the back...had a crap
setup, so just took my time, and gave ppl room if they came up
behind me...finished 8th, would of been 11th but for the dnf's,
wont be there for the sprint races, and if i'm available, will
be there for Valencia.
Cant get on till 07:45hrs uk time tho.

talk to my engineer to change my fuel to rich for most of the
race, LOL. ;D

Had a good quali session and secured fourth place right
alongside my teammate on the second row using the prime tire. I
was pretty happy to be the highest qualifier on the harder
compound and thought I had a shot at the win from there. The
start of the race was great with Chris and I running wheel to
wheel through the first few turns with no contact what so ever.
Great racing there dude ;D
Main thing I remember throughout my first stint was Beno right
on my gearbox for a number of laps. I had to save all my kers
for the back straight so I could get good top speed and hold
position untill he pitted as I new he was on the super softs and
would be pitting earlier than me. Good driving Beno.
I think for memory I pitted along with Nashy on lap 10 and went
for the super softs and came out to my suprise fifth just in
front of Beno again. Sorry bro you must of been getting pretty
pissed off looking at my gearbox ;)
I think I had only done three laps or so and then the safety car
was deployed so I took and gamble and headed back to the pits
for a free change back to the softs.
The following laps were a bit of a blur as I was concentrating
so much.... man my eyes felt like they were out on storks and
sweat was pissing off me haha. Anyway ended up pitting with ten
laps to go and put the super softs back on and was praying I
could make them work till the end of the race. Turns out this
was the right strategy as I was gaining on Nashy and managed to
pull a nice pass on him for third place. This I thought was my
lot which I was wrapped with to be on the podium yet again for
my new team ( 3 races - 3 podiums ;D ). And to boot a double
podium for the curry munchers with Gun in second place. Although
I did have a sniff at second as I was gaining on Chris
struggling with his worn tires. What a suprise It was to see Gun
spin in turn two on the last lap and hand second to me on a
plate ( hard luck mate ).
Drivers I had good battles with ... Drew, Ben, Nashy
My driver of the Day... Autobot ;) Theres are rumor in the
paddock the FIA are looking into you and the Sauber team for
using an automatic gearbox ;)
Really enjoying driving for the curry munchers and I think we
are going to be tuff to beat in the contstructors championship
8)
Great to see my old team mate on the grid also... I will always
hold a soft spot in my heart for my old team. See you at the
next race buddy.

Bad luck Gazza. Lap 8 & you just miss me at wall of champions &
you gave me a few love taps earlier in the race too. I know you
love me mate ;D

a bit of cat & mouse there gaz between us in vid 1 & 2,,goold
drivin i left u room at turn 6 when u got the penalty,just bad
luck mate but it worked out 4 u in the end
good to hear acdc in the playlist :)
