I was on options but hadn't practised & setup wasn't great.
Done a bit of practice this time round & managed to match Moss's
TT time.
Been qualifying in the high 20's with the Mercedes & Lotus in
quick race mode.
Which is the same pace as the Legend AI front runners.
Had two fun close races where I won both by just a few seconds.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! :'( :'( :'(
Oh well at least I was able to get close to Moss's pace in
qualy. I only ever get dsc when I actually practice for a race,
go figure!
Was looking like it was going to be a really fun race battling
with Drew & Cam there early.

Q: 5th ; spent more time learning the track again really, have
too many setups loaded at this circuit for some reason and
luckily the parc ferme being off allowed me to find the best one
out of all the saved ones. Was happy to see how tight the grid
was after Q
R: 2nd ; the first few laps were very interesting with everyone
sliding and going off and bumping and pushing....all that did
was allow Moss to disappear into the night. I made a mistake
when Livo was off in the grass and dropped through the field ...
then got back up and was side by side with Gazza going down the
front straight ... hit the brakes too late and nearly took
Stubbs with me, when I rejoined Gazza came up alongside and we
collected each other and went right into the wall :(. I was in
dead last for quite a while trying to find some sort of rhythm
and finally I caught up to Angry, Kart, and Gazza and was just
trying to take it easy racing with them.
Angry was giving me a hard time as his car was faster in a
straight line, so I turned the fuel mix up to try and fend him
off. I pitted one lap after Stubbs for new wets.
The 2nd stint was kinda boring minus the fact that I was
catching Stubbs by a few tenths per sector. Moss had made a
mistake so it was me chasing down the lead. Made a couple of
mistakes along the way, and for the 2nd race in a row, I finish
1 second behind the leader in 2nd place ... guess that's all I'm
good for now ::)
Good racing guys, the wet definitely made this race a bit more
interesting. Satisfied with my wet weather performance, just
bummed about the critical errors that ruined my chance at a win.

Q 4th. After havin a new car again I tried to settle into its
style.
Good to see a close q except kart who may need to go to rbr or
something
R 1st. Struggled early on and by the time I was into a rhythm n
out of the tussle moss was 12 secs ahead. I manage this gap for
most of the stint n when I put its at about 10. By this time
drew was in third n I come out of the pits 4 secs behind. The
wets are good early I found on the sauber. So I reeled him in
fast n he pits. I set 3 or so flaps on mix 2 and start reel in
moss. He's forced to pit and comes out about 5 secs ahead so my
early pit stop paid off. On his out lap he bins it n I take the
lead. Drew gets thru n I'm in front by 8/10 secs. With 8 laps to
go I put up fuel n try to motor but in doin so I make many
mistakes n was very lucky to not spin. So with 5 to and 5 secs
in front I cruised home in mix 1 make sure to hit every apex.
Knowing a had a sec per lap handicap I felt I could manage it.
Take nothin away from drew tho he was flyin in the latter stages

Q-3 Was able to do some serious practice as it's been raining
for the last 4 days and I haven't been to work, was pretty happy
with my time as I was very close to poll.
R-5 As if I haven't seen enough rain already, F*** me it's
Pi**ing down, just what I needed, all that practice goes
straight out the window and now we go into survival mode, lol.
Started off pretty ordinarily but ended up in second as cars
went off track and Livo D/C, then it was my turn, lost it and
let Drew and Angry through, was side by side with Drew down the
front straight and Drew misses his braking point and collects
Angry on the way through so I take advantage and shoot up the
inside while the boys are 4x4ing in the mud and as I'm going by
Drew clips my back wheel and spins me into the wall, 1st broken
wing, limp the whole track back to the pits losing a lot of
time. :'(
After trying to hang on around the track in the atrocious
weather, I end up planting it into the wall again, 2nd broken
wing, back to the pits, rejoin behind Moss as he laps me, then
he makes a mistake and I shoot by but let him by as I would only
hold him up, next couple of corners and he loses it and comes
straight back on track in front of me and BAM, nowhere to go,
3rd broken wing, lucky the pits were only 2 corners away, by
this time I have had enough and I was then 1min 35 sec behind
Angry so I set out to try and get the F/L and came close but in
trying I think I broke another wing, oh well, so much for
practice. :-\
Well done Cam, good win.
Whatever happened to waiting for cars to pass before coming back
on track? ::)

Gaz - just watched the video again, was an unfortunate racing
incident I think - you came up alongside me quick and we just
interlocked wheels, so sorry that it broke your front wing :-[
you were doing a terrific job racing up front with us in the
meantime though. I wouldn't say that practice was thrown out the
window, had you not practiced I guarantee you would've been
barely able to hang on.

Practise? or Not To Practice?
Either way, if you get punted into the wall and end up with no
wing your screwed! :(
Valencia - Kart smashes into Striker on T1 and catapults him
into me = broken wing
Germany - Angry smashes into me and Striker on the first lap =
broken wing
Budapest- Drew comes from off circuit, spins me into the wall =
broken wing
I have had good practice at the last 3 races and have a good
grid position to start the race but can you see a pattern here?
I can, and it's called getting F***** over. >:(
It may be a coincidence but I have just about had enough of it.
So Drew, don't tell me practice is good because when you end up
in the wall every f***ing race and finish last by over a lap,
practice means sh*t. ::)
