There is a chance I may be home late today, if I don't invite
you by 5.55pm then carry on without me. :'(

My attendance is also questionable tonight ....
Is it possible we can consider a new race time? I'm pretty sure
the only person who really had a problem with starting any later
was Macca (because of his son, and how late we would be
playing), because I remember when I was late to a lot of races
in season 1, Macca was against waiting late for Castrol to get
on as well ... but I know for the next month to two months, I am
going to be unknown until the last minute based on how my
workload is going to be.
Also, Supanash could potentially make a later start time as
well, as he should be home from work if we push it back a half
hour/hour. ...
Only person I can see being against this is Moss, as it's
already very late when we start playing for him, and I don't
know how much later he would want to start racing.
Can we discuss this further please. I don't want to make the
numbers any smaller than they already are.

Emailed supanash, looks like he hasn't made a comment yet.
Looks like I'll be there for normal race time tonight anyway,
but lets keep the discussion about this open for the future.

I would luv it to be an hour later, as I can not guarantee I
will make it as my finish time is very unpredictable.
Did you guys end up racing tonight??
I didn't get home until 6.45pm.

First of all, something is completely wrong with my playstation.
Did one practice race with the guys before we started, and I was
disconnected from the service point (?) whatever the hell that
means ...
Then when I tried to rejoin for the race after I left for a bit,
saw everyone's microphones lit up and blabbering away but I
heard nothing through my TV or my microphone .... we restarted
and finally I could hear everyone but my microphone wouldn't
turn on. Played around with it again after the race, but nada. I
don't get it, but I hope this is a freak thing.
Anyways, to the race report..
Q: 2nd ; Had pole for a split second at the end by a hair, and
then Moss came and stole it from me at the last second.
R: 2nd ; decent launch off the line, followed Moss and I'm going
to be honest that I was not with it the first couple of
laps..perhaps it's because I was running in 2nd place chasing
Moussa, and I was a bit nervous/unfamiliar. After a few laps I
relaxed and I was actually beginning to close in quick on him.
As my tires started to wear, I was having a hard time holding on
and Moussa started gapping me again.
Because there was a chance of rain, I went for a fresh pair of
options ... after my warm-up lap I was starting to catch Moussa
again, and saw him making a mistake in turn 3, and I was right
up behind him, but I didn't get DRS (?). He makes a mistake in
Copse and I soar into the lead. And from there I steadily put
some distance between us. Didn't know where this rain was at
.... but my options were starting to go off after another 10
laps of racing .. finally I see rain drops, and before the track
was even that slick I was holding on for dear life, and in
Brooklands I stuffed it up and spun out into the grass and lost
the lead. Managed to do the same thing on the next lap as well,
and when I went to pit for inters, Moussa was 15 sec ahead.
Inters on, maintain the gap .... we pit for wets, and I was
really struggling on the wets as well, I had absolutely no
reference points at all on the track between the dark skies and
the splatter all over the screen. Couldn't believe that I was
actually keeping the gap to Moussa still, I guess he was also
having issues finding where the track was going.
Slowly, I'm making strides to the front. I hope I can win one of
these days ... great race guys.
