Hollidays thread
By: Moss Date: December 29, 2012, 3:20 pm

Ok wth is going on here, it's been dead lol, here's a an
interesting thread atleast to gather everyone here.
If u like u can answer the questions.
First, how is ur holidays going?
Have u guys been practicing Spain?
What's the fastest qualifying lap have u guys done yet? Dry and
wet?
Since this game has a bigger chance to rain then last year have
u guys been practicing rain races?
What's ur opinion so far this season? Improving or lacking?
Who has the most potential for the championship?
Who has been surprising you?
Who's the most consistent driver in the field?
Are u guys looking forward to monaco after Spain?

Hi my hollidays been quiet so if i have nothing to do i'm
playing. I have done some races at spain but still trying to
find consistency. I think this track is good but needs a lot of
focous becose some mistakes here can take you to the gravel or
the bloody chincane can ruine your race! My fastest qualy time
was 120.3 and i haven't done any practice on the wet. I think
the championchip will be very close and i hope it will be!
livolay had a very good start and it's important from now on be
consistent but moss and camsttubs will be on the run, supanash
still one run but not sure if he will be able to play all the
races. Moss is the most consistent but will see what the weather
can bring over! I don't like monaco but it's a cool track! Come
to do some practing during the week if you can guys! Thanks!

Holidays have been awesome. 3 weeks off go back on the 14th n I
can't complain
Done zero practice havent even played the Sony other then black
ops
As for q times I'm not sure. Maybe 119 but I dunno
So far I feel im a lot less competitive n consistent then last
season
I think the biggest surprise is striker he has come from out of
the top 4(moss, livo, Nash, myself) from last season and
cemented himself as a super fast racer. Well done. I've had to
chance and change my strategy a few times around his pace so we
dont clash
The most consistent so far would have to be moss. I think he is
a bit ahead of the rest
I can't wait for Monaco just as much as moss can't. Battle
royale maybe?

First of all the holidays got abit boring doing the same thing
everyday, but I can't complain.
I did do some practice and my fastest so far is mid 19, I think
a high 18 is possible but I'm happy with where I am, I've been
working on my steering settings, trying to get the smoothest
driving style possible, and that will help me be more
consistent.
I've been practicing rain as well doing 100% races because its
been my weak point this season.
I think everyone has been improving from the top 5, I just wish
we could have a full competitive field, I know if woody wants to
do good he would, there's no doubt he's got good driving style
and speed, even gazza and macca. And if u guys need help with ur
setup I'm more then happy to help.
I would say the most competitive would be stricker and Stubbs,
stricker is definitely much more competitive this season, very
fast and with great driving style. And if u do one mistake
Stubbs is right behind waiting for an opportunity to win.
The most potential so far is livolay, he might not have the
right speed yet, but he's not far behind, he's got the tactics
and if he wants to be just as fast he's got no problem.
Monaco is an awesome track, the thing about monaco is to win, u
have to grab pole, drive as fast as u can all race to secure ur
win with mistakes free and ill be good, god I can't wait. Lol

Well, the holidays were nothing but stress for me unfortunately
... was changing shifts at work and Christmas especially I was
on the move but somehow I managed to get everything done I need
to. I did my first practice at Spain last night with Striker and
after doing about 10 laps or so I was already at a 1:20.9 with
help from his setup. A 1:18 as Moss alluded to would make him a
machine and I just don't see where all that speed comes from.
Did a quick race in the rain but I have absolutely no
confidence, just waiting to hit the brakes and just completely
lock up and go into the gravel. I don't think you can do enough
practice in the rain races, because when the jitters come race
time, any small mistake loses you tons of time.
I definitely feel like I'm going backwards this year. With all
the league races that I have been able to compete in, I am
mostly DNF'ing and have no self-confidence and consistency like
I felt I had in F1 2011. I think I'm worrying too much about
setup when in reality I feel like this game you can have a
variety of different setups for one race and still be fast.
Striker's setup that he provided me with last night was so off
the wall and after driving those 10 laps I was right on pace.
Can't doubt Moss for the championship, I don't think he will
have any competition IMO. Only reason there was competition with
him last season was because he missed some races ... and most of
the races he was involved in had lag problems that hindered him
from taking the race away.
My goal is to continue my streak of winning at least 1 race like
I have done the past 2 seasons (Korea S1, Spa S2), but this time
I want to win it fair and square with a hard fought battle, as
the aforementioned 2 races I didn't feel like I earned by hard
racing.
I honestly have not seen much in the way of surprises. Everyone
is performing to how I would predict them to. I am unsure of who
the most consistent driver in the field, but I would have to
shout out to Gazza as I have watched him come a long way since
the days we played F1 2010 and he had zero pace and probably
belonged more in a public lobby but now he is and can be a top 5
or top 3 racer given the right circumstances and the right
track.
I am very much looking forward to Monaco as I drove that race in
RaceDepartment (100% race) and was running super fast pace until
a BS crash with 10 laps to go. I will need a LOT of practice to
get back into the swing of that race.
Looking to practice some more with Striker tonight like I did
last night and see if I can't shave some more time off my fast
lap. Now that my shift has changed officially I plan to spend
quite a bit more time playing the game and finding the best
technique possible.
