       Q - 2
Pretty sloppy lap for a 1:34.9ish. I reckon I'd have been down
in the low 1:34s if I'd managed a cleaner lap. So I seem to have
       decent quali pace...
       R - 4
...however, my race pace isn't so good :-[
Lost 2nd place to Moss at the first corner and then spent the
first few laps making a lot of mistakes. Angryman got past with
DRS, only to outbrake himself into T1 giving me 3rd place back.
Then I was holding Livo up for a few laps, saving my KERS to
defend on the pit straight. It was actually a relief when he
eventually got past me, so that I could concentrate on my own
race, which was obviously going to be for 4th place.
Really struggled to string together 3 good sectors in the same
lap when I was pushing, and eventually found that lapping around
a second slower than the leaders was the right pace for me. Had
a good battle with Striker for 4th/5th towards the end of the
race but I think he eventually made a small mistake, allowing me
a comfortable last couple of laps.
I reckon it's going to be like this for me all season. Was the
same in the first season of 2011 as well. Takes me a whole
season before I have enough practice to be challenging for wins!
It was really good racing today I thought. Lots of close battles
without any contact. Hope I didn't cause any problems for Angry
or Livo with my erratic driving in the early part of the race.

Very sad mate, we would love to see u change ur mind castrol. Me
and Andrew have had the same issues but the love of this place
and the quality of racing here is what changed our mind from
leaving. If there's anything I could help with setups or
anything in the game I'm available. I hope u change ur mind

Q 5th really happy with that, i beat my fastest time by a second
       things were looking great.
race 9th.. just a terrible race for me, i felt like i had a
totally different car in the race compared to australia and Q it
was just terrible, so i spun about 5 times just cause of the
lack of grip i seemed to had.
anyway ill post my setup and see if you think its not right,
       cause i need help.
       aero 2/4

       brake 48/52 high
       arb 11/11
       ride height 1/2 springs 11/11
       gears cant remember
       alingment
and the first to all the way to the left last to all the way to
       the right.

       Hi Kartdude.
Your front ARB & front stiffness are both 11.
This means that while you will turn in quicker you have no front
end grip. Especially bad with heavy fuel.
I had my front ARB at 11 but my front stiffness was 5.
This was the only change I made to my Melbourne set up.
Didn't have time to play around elsewhere but I'm sure I could
of either dropped my rear ARB or rear stiffness to find more
       rear end grip.
       Moss would know better.

Also 2-4 aero isn't good. The physics of the rear end is
different from 2011 which has changed to give more rear
       stability, especially with DRS.
With understeer costing so much time in this game you can get
away with setting the car up with 11-1. That would give you more
grip & give oversteer instead (doesn't cost you as much time but
need to be gentle with throttle input).
I noticed for Malaysia set-ups online there was quite a few
       people running at 9-2 & 11-2.
       Hope I can help.

I also noticed a big drop with my tyre wear when I dropped my
       front stiffness.
Keep this in mind as it was one reason I went on a different
strategy & put in 14 laps on fresh options.
Tyres were still great on the last lap.

Kartdude, first of all ur aero would not work for a track like
Malaysia, ur front and rear wing should be equal or close, to
get more balance on high speed corners especially on t1-2 and
t14 when the corner gets slightly tighter tighter u need that
extra balance to get it perfect. If u want to avoid the
oversteer or rear lock up I can only recommend u rear aero 1
step ahead like 1-2 or 2-3.
Ur balance is good to stay on the safe side, I did try it and I
wasn't so sycked about the understeer on high speed corners, the
higher the front balance the more understeer u get on the high
speed corners, and the higher the rear balance the more
understeer u get on low speed corners. In Malaysia there's more
high speeds then low speed. So what I reccomend especially if u
have more rear aero 6-11 for arb that way u get perfect balance
       for every corner.
Brakes keep them 50% u don't want that rear lock up. and
       suspension I reccomend 1-1-11-11
I hope u guys find ur setup in china, this one will be
       difficult.
