Well, that was an interesting qualifying session and race.
I blew my engine up in qually again grrrrrrrrr.
Got a pretty good start, the car felt fast, found myself in 3rd
behind Livo, couldn't quite get up close enough to him to make a
pass, came in for primes after about 15 laps on options, then
the rain came, wtf, instant rain? ran the primes until they
started to slide, pitted for inters, then back in for wets, what
a guessing game. Passed Livo after he made a mistake and then
got passed by Drew, had second place until the last sector and
over cooked it and let Striker through, bugger, still happy with
3rd. Good win Woody.
The weather certainly throws a spanner in the works. ::)
There was a motion put forward after the race in the lobby by
Kiwi, "to put the weather on clear until a patch rectifies the
problem".
That is if a patch is done to fix this problem?? :-\
I would like to hear everyones opinion on this and I will put a
poll up to vote before the season starts. ;)

Y'know I did a bunch of thinking about this weather situation
....
And I think it's honestly really not a big deal guys.
I think it's actually UNrealistic the way it's always been.
Sometimes when rain comes, it falls heavy and instant, (at least
it does here in the states...) whereas in 2011, it was always
spitting for a bit, then it would get so wet, then dry. I think
that the game evolved correctly in terms of instant heavy rain,
it's not like the track was suddenly slick instantly...it did
take a few laps for it to get completely wet. so I really see a
non-issue here. Keep it dynamic.

that has to be the worst race i've ever had on 2012.....nothing
to do with the weather, I started on primes and when i pitted
for options, after the pit stop, the game put me back to my view
just as the car was going over the pit exit line, guess
what....yeah a drive thru pen....did the drive thru, and the pit
crew decided to change my tyres, and bugger me...that does not
count as a drive thru, anyways another drive thru and yet more
tyres...so yet another drive thru...pants...got the teddy out
from beneath my seat and threw it out of the car. I have seen
this glitch on codies forums and i believe its getting fixed.
still loving the game tho.

Finally got the game, this is why I haven't been on. Internets
also down so may be a few days before you see me online. As its
daylight savings in NSW now, do we start 7pm Sydney time?

I respect your opinion Drew. However I completely disagree with
you. Based on real life weather changing scenario's that have
happened in F1 nothing has come even close to what was simulated
in the race. You say it's not a big deal but I strongly
disagree. It's an absolute disgrace from codemasters. There was
no evolution whatsoever. It was sunny dry to sunny rain with no
evolution of grip levels & even the evolution from inters to
wets was less than 2 laps!
Agree to disagree.
