Things missing in F1 2012

As far as I can tell, the following 2011 features are confirmed
as being missing from 2012.
- Being able to set up a custom season in GP Mode. I never did
this, so it doesn't bother me at all. Offline, I only play the
full career mode.
- FP2 and FP3 on a long race weekend. Again, I don't care about
this. One practice session is enough for me.
- Tire wear scaling. Now this does bother me. It means that to
get a realistic number of pitstops you'll have to do 100% races.
Last year, if you did 50%, you got the same number of pitstops,
since the tyres wore out twice as fast. It means that in our
league races, we'll probably all be one stopping, which removes
an element of strategy from the racing. And for the 25% races
you probably won't need to stop at all, apart from to meet the
rule of running both compounds, so you'll get people diving into
the pits for the last lap.

Just been doing some more reading on this tyre scaling issue or
lack of :o
This is a major Codemasters fail and in fact could turn out to
be a game breaker. Im going to hold off buying this for a couple
of days to see what happens on this one.

Just google codemasters general 2012 forums. There is a lot of
very angry people. Sounds like people are canceling preorders
and returning their copies already.
I can't believe codemasters have let us down again. They make
some very stupid decisions that's for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No confirmation of it yet. Lets just wait and see what happens
when the game comes out.
Plus, there's always the patch (that will ruin something else)
