Q - 1 : 1:30.6ish
Managed to judge the time right for a change and started a lap
with just 5 sec to go. 1:30.6 was a good time for me. Better
than any of the practice sessions we did last night. I was
relieved to improve my time on that final run, since my previous
best was set at the start of the session but used 2 hot laps on
the same set of tyres.
R - 1 (O/P/P/P)
Made a 3 stopper work. Just!
Had a good start and led for the first stint. Pitted on lap 4
with Moss right behind. The McLaren team got the job done for
once and he came out of the pits ahead of me. Stubbs pitted the
lap after and came out right behind me. He got past a couple of
laps later with DRS, so I'd got shuffled down from 1st to 3rd.
After that Moss and Stubbs pulled out a bit of a gap. I was
hoping they were 4 stopping. I just stuck to my plan to do 3
stops with 8 laps on each set of primes. That meant not turning
up the fuel too often, even though it was tempting.
For the middle section of the race I was on my own, just trying
to hang on to the leaders. I made quite a few small mistakes but
managed kept the gap to 10 sec or so. When they both pitted with
10 laps to go I knew I was in with a chance. I assumed they were
both doing 2 more stops with options. Made my final stop for
primes with 8 laps to go and then just hoped for the best, still
not turning up the fuel apart from the occasional blast down the
long straight.
Moss pitted as I expected with 5 laps to go, but Stubbs stayed
out, which was a bit confusing. I thought he might be trying to
stay out for the remainder, but I knew that was unlikely to
work. Even on primes, 10 laps is pretty impossible. He pitted in
the end with 3 laps to go I think. By the time he came out he
must have been 10sec behind, which I thought was too far to
catch me, even on a fresh set of options. I relaxed a bit too
much and in the end only just hung on for the win!
Never thought I could win in Korea, and it's weird to win a race
where I was on my own (and not leading) for almost all of it.

Q - 3rd (PRIMES)
was the fastest primes qaulifier only +.450 off the pole time of
nashy. and i was forced to run wider and slower thru the last
sweeping corner before the st/fin line by a car doin an inlap.
that person was the other merc driver doh!!!! haha i was purple
sector 2 aswell. all is good
R - 2nd
started well and jumped moss. he ended up getting the P back in
a lil battle we had thru the 1st sector. the front 2 were on
options and i was shocked to have kept with them all the way
thru the 1st stint. the next stint we were all primes and i had
awesome pace, passed nash for 2nd then caught moss with some
mistake free racing, it just all worked tonight, i ended up
passing him 4/5 laps later.
was really surprised at my pace everything just felt slick all
race long. had some good overtakes and tight driving with both
of them, moss shot himself in the foot by spining on the exit of
the pits. allowing me too relax,
once i realised nash was doin a 3 stopper with 3 laps to go i
had over 10+ secs too make up, by then moss had caught me up to
about 3 secs from his spin i decided to up the wick caught nashy
in the last sector, almost had the run on him thru the last
corner but ran out of fuel with 100 to go, he beat me by 1 tenth
DOH!!!
really happy with the car after having a few weeks d/c.
i was easily the fastest car this gp just got held up for a few
laps here and their by moss and nash if i had clear air for the
whole race i reckon i take the win but still happy just to
finish the race,,,
bideo is uploading feating moss and nash all race pretty much

qualifying 2nd with a big mistake losing 5 tenths on last sector
to my first lap. and losing pole.
in the race i had a very bad start almost losing position to
stubs but battled it till i got it back and stayed close behind
nash, and pitted lap4 with him, i came out the pits ahead of him
and made a good gap.
a few laps later my tires were gone, stubs caught me up and
overtakes me, but i was saving fuel at that time, for the end.
then pitted again lap 11 before nash and stubs did and got ahead
after they pitted, i knew stubs was gonna catch me, we were in
exactly the opposite in strategy and fuel map, stubs started
lagging on my screen and i was hit not knowing were he was, then
just slowed down and let him go.
pitted again with stubs lap 18 and nash stayed out, and lost
control at the pit exit, broke my front wing, and strugled with
handling, i used all my fuel to gain back what i lost (6
seconds) and i lost another 2 seconds in the pits, on my last
stop.
i went out behind stricker, and caught up to him, got held up
for a whole lap, then overtook him in the straight. after that i
knew my position was only third and i gave it up.
i think me nash and stubs had the same pace. but just much
different strategy. i know i can go faster in korea but i just
couldnt find my perfect balance. i didnt trust the car, it did
feel allot better than before but still wasnt in the pace i
wanted. one of my mistakes was changing my front camber and car
was understeering allot, maybe if i didnt do that i wouldve done
better.
anyways afterall well done to nash, back to the lead but still 3
races to go and will look for some pace and do my best. best of
luck guys

Q: 6th; a little bummed about this, as I was making very silly
mistakes and cutting stupid corners for no real good reason, I
just felt very sloppy for the whole session for some reason.
R: 5th, +20sec -> 7th; O4-P8-P8-P8 well the start of the race
was great, I easily slid past Striker and then battled with Dale
all through sector 2, we made contact (completely my fault) in
one of the sweeping turns, but we made it out alive. After that
contact though, things just started slipping away it seemed. I
was slipping and sliding for the whole rest of the lap before
finally getting autospin on the curb on the last left-hander
which sent me into another mini-spin. Striker, Dale, and Gaz all
slid past and my teammate was right on my tail as well.
I realized I had worn my tires out pretty bad in quali, and then
in the first lap with the contact and the spin so the first 4
laps of the race felt just awful.
I couldn't wait to get off these tires and get fresh rubber, and
on the start of the run I was battling with Striker for a bit,
but he got past and put me back to 5th. After a few laps the car
felt like it did at the first stint again. I couldn't get the
power down really anywhere and I had to countersteer a lot to
make up for the rear being too loose.
The rest of the race was rather uneventful...only car I kept
seeing was Dale's and it was only when he was on an in-lap.
Pretty disappointed, and compared to last week at Suzuka, I
really do NOT like this track. The curbs are completely
unrealistic and you hit one the wrong way and you just
automatically spin out and you can barely save it.
In the closing stages, Striker exited the pits just behind me
and I was almost positive I wasn't gonna hold him off as my
tires were well gone by then. Later that lap, I spun out at the
2nd hairpin and then decided to cut across the whole segment
there and I got a 20sec penalty. Really stupid as I was just
inching along through it and I had already spun out but I guess
that is just a downright no-go area in this game. Ridiculous.
My first race with real editing! Enjoy:

I'm also getting kind of frustrated with losing players due to
disconnection. Can we please try a different host next week?

Q-7th
R-8th Had a good start, was doing well but only having 80% tires
to start with they went off very quick, 2nd lap was going into
T2 and missed my braking point and happened to push Striker a
bit wide and take the position, no contact, sorry Striker my
fault, but next lap he got me in the DRS zone and then squeezed
me up against the wall, as you will see on Drew's video, not
nice Striker, no need for that, where you trying to put me into
the wall? I had to back off to avoid smashing the car, anyway,
cruised around on my own for the rest of the race, struggled
with tires, made some slight errors which slowed me up and lost
too much time and could not recover, oh well, try again.
DOD Supanash well done. ;) :) 8)
