I've got mixed feelings about this. I think our little league
has got a lot going for it that other leagues would really like
to have. The racing is good, all the way down the field, and
everyone competes in the right spirit. I watched some of drew's
spectator view vid and it was really good to see how everyone
races.
I hardly ever check the championship standings, because it just
doesn't matter to me. What I care about is that once a week I
know I'm going to have a good race, with a bunch of competitive
but fair drivers, and no-one is going to get really upset if
there's a collision, or lag, or whatever. For example, I totally
wiped out Livo in Hungary and he just shrugged it off as one of
those things. That's what's great about racing in this league. I
know that no-one is going to crash into me on purpose. If it
happens it's a genuine mistake (or lag) and it's always
forgotten by the time the next race comes around.
I have no idea what the PRL guys are like, but if drew is happy
to vouch for them then I don't mind giving it a try.

Yeah, I'll never publicly call anyone out if their performance
is poor unless it's evident across the board that they have no
respect on the track.
I will be on the lookout for sure to those that I see that drive
poorly, like I said I have a few people in mind right now.
I think that in order for this to work successfully, we will all
have to discuss it, as this is our league and I'd hate to see
any drastic changes that could really hurt the health of this
league.
Don't just listen to my vouching though, Nash. Angry and Stubbs
are also racers in our PRL league so their input and good words
should count as well. I'm confident that both of those guys have
proven themselves in this league enough to have a respected
opinion, and I'm extremely happy that both of these guys have
grown comfortable with everyone here and can get as much
enjoyment out of this league as the rest of us. That's what I
feel is most important about bringing new people; more so that
they click with everyone and are hungry to come on here for
clean racing and not for the whining/politics of it all which
you see in some league environments.
Supanash hit the nail right on the head by saying that our
league has what a lot of leagues would really like to have: the
right attitude.
Maybe we all can sign on 15 minutes before the Abu Dhabi race
and talk about our thoughts/comments/concerns and not just rely
on the occasional post on the forum here. I think that will give
everyone a good feel of how we really feel about taking a step
forward (or backward) here.

Am with all you guys on this, its not the winning that counts,
its racing with you guys that I like the most....its not do or
die, just good clean fun, apart from that , I wouldnt be able to
do a Sunday.
ps. I would like to win, someday lol.
This game has not realy suited me, hoping that 2012 does, still
loadsa fun tho.

I don't want to change anything if you guys don't want to, I
also don't want things to get complicated either, as I am just a
simple boy haha! We have done a lot of racing together in this
league and I think we are all comfortable with each other but
still very competitive, as nash said we don't jump down
someone's throat if an incident occurs, as everyone respects the
other drivers, and we just get on with racing and having fun, I
don't want that to change either.
I set this league up so we didn't have all the bulls*** the
others have and everyone here has contributed to that to make it
what it is today. I suppose if anyone wants to race in either
league as to make up numbers then they can approach each
competition themselves.
I to would like to win someday Castrol! :'(
Cheers fella's, still want to here everyones thoughts, as I said
this has to be a unified decision. That's a good idea Drew if we
get on a bit earlier on Tuesday a have a chat about it.

Off course I'm for the idea I think it will be a good option.
The laid back style of this league will transfer over I'm sure
of it. Other there everyone gets on the same as we do here. I
think the racing would go from good to great. We have 2/3 as
fast as the front runners in here and the rest are really
tightly packed in the mid field. Most races we get 16 racers
thru t1 and lap 1 so that says alot.
So drew n Nash are willin to attempt a try which is good. Have a
trial run and if new things don't get u wet it wouldn't be a
disaster to re use this site!

Just out of interest, what time are the PRL races? Sunday's
might suit me better than Tuesday evenings.

I'll try and give my thoughts on possible pros and cons sorry if
it rambles a bit.
This league is very laid back but that doesn't result in worse
racing because everyone is aware of racing how you'd expect to
be raced against. What results is a respect so that when an
incident occurs you assume the other person had good intentions
and just made a mistake. The biggest reason for this is the
people racing not that it is a smaller league, as Gaz would
still be the organiser you can always remove people that aren't
in the right spirit for the league if that even occured.
Getting a sudden in flux of people can distrupt this as everyone
is unaware of how everyone races and can cause tension. I know
at the start of S2 for PRL there was a nervousness across the
field, though after a race or two it settled and we generally
get through t1 with out incident even with 16 drivers and a
little lag. I'd say we are all comfortable with each other and
know what to expect. I think just the fact that people are
worried about change causes this, not that there is necessarily
a problem.
The biggest advantage though is that having more racers is
better as there is more racing to be had through the pack. I
think it would be easy to take what you have and implement it on
the PRL site, that will get more exposure and due to having
different leagues provide new guys as attrition occurs.
Obviously Cam and I were brought here by Drew from PRL but if
it's on the site, those interested might just pop in.

I think this league should grow slowly, and that's the only way
we can still have great races and good seasons with so much fun.
By far this is one of the best leagues that I've ever raced at,
I'm in another league where I might retire from soon because of
lack of pace and unexperienced drivers, ppl who can't race wheel
to wheel or not crash in the first corner.
And I think most of all it's the fun of it, we all want to beat
each other but at the end of the day we do take our results as
it is and accept it, and most of all help each out.
I'm pleased to race here and love the grid we have, let's keep
it that way because we shouldn't destroy what's already perfect.
